Question POLL: Christine's songs from 1975 Fleetwood Mac album

Well it looks like the discussion and "vetting" of Christine's songs has slowed down on the DISCUSSION thread, so here is the official poll thread for Christine's songs from the 1975 Fleetwood Mac album.

Remember to vote for your Favorite Christine song, going by to the original album version.

"World Turning" will not be eligible here , but will be eligible for a Favorite FM collaboration/duet song later on, and of course for Favorite song for this album.

They're all great songs but Say You Love Me is the absolute best of them all. I bet most fans will agree with me.

Say You Love Me for sure, faultless song.

Well it does seem ''Say You Love Me'' is the favorite, as it is the only one with votes (6) at the moment! I did end up choosing SYLM but it was between that & 'Sugar Daddy' .

It was the same way for me, tough decision but I went with SYLM since I discovered the song first, thanks to the 1988 Greatest Hits CD.

I would have voted "World Turning" for sure, but you have a oint and so it is "Sugar Daddy" in all it's underrated glory.

Hard to choose between SYLM and OMH. I love them equally. I'll just vote for the one with fewer votes! Don't want OMH to be neglected. Still sad it was dropped from The Dance.

I know it's total Adult Contemporary fluffy pop, but I just adore Warm Ways. I have fond memories of always hearing that song at my favorite restaurant back in Charlotte, NC... sitting on the patio next to the waterfalls, overlooking Symphony Park. That song just takes me back to when I was in college and was rapidly discovering my true identity for the first time, while ravenously buying up every Mac and solo album I could come across. I don't listen to the White Album very much these days, but whenever I do, Warm Ways never fails to take me back to a simpler, beautiful time in my life .

Hello Louie & all: I agree with you on the quality of "Warm Ways". A very beautiful song. Should have been released as a single. It is, for me, a very close second to "Over My Head". There is probably some sentimentality involved, since "OMH" is the song that introduced me to Fleetwood Mac. Best regards, Madelow.

I much prefer Over my head on the 1980 live album, and on The Dance, though I think SYLM sounds better on record. Its a hard choiceee

Close between "Warm Ways" and "Over My Head." I never really got the "Say You Love Me" hype.

More than even "Over My Head," the song established Christine's romantic persona. The bridge established the band's CHEMISTRY, while the ending's "falling / falling / falling"--in which Stevie's voice can be distinguished--climaxes with Lindsey's orgasmic "yeah-eah" thus establishing the band's DYNAMIC. In addition, the song's versatility and durability was proven by the "new twist on an old song" on The Dance and the Lindsey/Stevie duet during the Unleashed tour. That said: music don't get prettier than "Warm Ways" and "Over My Head," thus exemplifying a certain strain of Mac . . . until they are surpassed by Christine's songs on Tusk!

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.
