For what it's worth, the Ledge has always been a 'call it like you see it' kind of message board. Whereas other Stevie/Mac message boards will burn you at the stake for critiquing Stevie/Fleetwood Mac, we all treasure a good debate around here. We discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly. They've all given us some fantastic music and concert performances over the decades. With so many iconic songs, we all get a bit peeved when Stevie does cover songs, for instance. We're fans, if ANYONE has the right to critique this band and it's solo artists, it's us. We're truly informed, know the history inside and out, and know what these people are capable of, and when they're not living up to their potential.

If this kind of environment doesn't suit you, there are more message boards than not in the Fleetwood Mac/Stevie community that are solely "positive only." God knows, if this place raises your blood pressure, we'd hate for you to give yourself a stroke! I personally suggest you stick around. Add in your positive two cents, but leave your comments about board members being "buttheads" at the door. We may critique the band around here, have differing opinions, but we respect one another first and foremost... I suggest you do the same.

Louie I couldn't said it better myself.....great post!!! This thing really got out of hand didn't it....wow!!! Everyones got a right to his or her opinion no matter what it is......I don't think Stevie walks on rainbows or in the clouds......she and Mac haven't made the best of choices through the yrs at times.....and when I don't like something I usually will speak up if its a topic I'm interested in.....but in the end it is what it is.....and life goes on......just appreciate all the good the bad and the indifferent.....life is short and life is sweet.....( as I think the the Natalie Merchant song here: Life Is Sweet)....I guess I'm saying this now and maybe this isn't the right place to put this but my brothers friend and classmate from Hight School (I knew him too-we all went to the same school) Victor was his name. He was in the hospital for one problem and than developed a blood clot in his leg ....it went to his heart....he died this week leaving his wife with there two little boys to raise.....He was only 45 yrs old. I am deeply saddened by it all ( as I weep while I am typing this up).....he lost his job....she my lose her home too. He had no life insurance either it had been cancelled when he lost his job. So all I ask is everyone prays for her and his family right now. Its all so very sad....I'm sorry I just had to get this out.........I mean my brother is the same age 45 and I'm 41......Life is short or it can be. Also one of the Doctors in the office I work at her little boy is also in the hospital with a viral infection that has went to his heart. He is also in ICU she will not be in the office for sometime now. Which I don't blame her she should be with her little 7 yr old boy right now.
I'm so sorry I went off to something different. Life can be sweet so lets all appreciate what we have at this moment in time.(& Thank God) Cause really its all we've got......I do love Stevie and Mac even if what I say may not be all hearts and flowers but its ok to not have rose colored glasses too.....its hard to have perspective sometimes....its easy to lose it......anyway, I thank all for there thoughts and prayers at this time.
