The gifs are great!
To embed these, I had to open another window, then go to where it says HtML code for web, right click on it to bring up 'Select all' click on that, then right click again and select 'copy', then drag the code over to window that has The Ledge reply box. I explained it the best I could, but I have probably confused you!

We were referring to Carol Ann Harris (back in June). This is a photo I hadn't seen before, but I have no idea when it was taken.

I'm pretty sure this was a picture included in her book, Storms. It was tiny in the book though, so it's interesting to see a more clear picture of it. Man her hair was in serious need of some conditioner! Poor thing is just parched!

I figured it was probably from the book. I haven't bought it yet (I read a great deal of it on an online preview). I guess I should buy it, but I've heard so much about how CAH portrayed herself in a so much better light than anyone else in the book. I mean, I know LB has his faults, but people doing a bunch of drugs or drinking are going to act in ways that they may never had acted if they had been sober. I think that should have been more emphasized.

I assumed it was there for acoustic reasons. Would it enhance the sound for him, so it helps him hear his drums better and stay in time? I'm not sure.

Something like that. I think it also helps out the other musicians on stage as well...protect them from the drum sound being overwhelming.

OK, that made me laugh, and I could even see Mick doing it too, but who would, aside from Lindsey in some Rumours-era footage (it was from the Japan show, but I forget the song), who would spit on his drumkit?

Yeah, I thought it'd be more acoustic-related. Like it or not, Mick is a very loud drummer, and even with those monitor-things to be able to hear the music, his drumming is gonna drown out some things.

The truth is, Mick spits more than anyone. That's why the poor stage hand has to go out and wipe the mic after his solo. So, maybe the plastic guard is to protect the rest of the band from him!

Lol come to think of it, you do sound right. I never noticed someone wiping down his mic, but being a madman drummer is gonnalead to at least some spitting.

Now, I know this was put up like yesterday, but I gotta ask: is it just me or did Lindsey shrink? I recall him being a few inches shorter than Mick back in the day and now he looks Stevie-sized next to him.
