Stevie refers to the five demos as being what she wanted to play. That leads me to think they were the versions recorded before she arrived.

what a great idea! Yeah, last night, I got home from a date at 1:00 am and I needed a shower and to get to bed, but I just sat and stared at that picture for like 10 minutes!

ETA: Can anyone embed it. I can't view the link at work but it would surely lift my spirits.
