Quick question about Say Goodbye

First of all...this song is totally amazing!!!!

I just have a question, maybe I'm completely crazy but I swear toward the end of the song, I hear something that sounds like sniffles twice. It's probably just some instrument or something...anyone know?

However, if they were sniffles it would be a nice touch

Oh yeah...and at the end of Murrow, it sounds like there are voices talking. Anyone know what that's about?

Yep, there are voices at the end of Murrow, you can CLEARLY hear a lady go "Here we go.", but I don't know WHAT the other voices are saying...sounds like a newscast...probably about Murrow and that sitch.

SNIFFLES?!?!! I will listen to that song in a lil while and listen for these sniffles. LOL WIERD!!

You're not the only one. I heard them the first time I heard the song. I thought I was just being my crazy self again. Thank god someone else noticed! Sometimes I worry myself w/ the things I think....

I know it's not what he says...at least it's not listed in the lyrics as what he says...but at the end of the song, it sounds as though he says "i could never say goodbye to you." Turns out it's just him saying "and now i say goodbye to you" kind of fast paced but when I first heard it i was like, "woah!!" You're not the only one who hears sniffles...i guess we're both going a little insane

Are we all 100% sure that the 2nd to last line that he sings in this song is not "i could never say goodbye to you"? Every other time he sings, "now I say goodbye to you" and it sounds clear to me but i swear that I heard the above on the 2nd to last line. It appears that I am not alone with this so I am questioning how much truth there is to this.

I seriously hope he is saying "i could never say goodbye to you." I think his wife might get a little pissed off at that BUT, that would be really a really sweet ending. It's the hopeless romantic in me...I still somehow always think that someday, they'll be together. Yes yes yes...i know he's married and we've had this conversation about a jillion times, but I think they're always going to be a part of each other and whether that's love or not, i dunno. Maybe that's his little way of repressing feelings that he'll never loose. He's moved on but still, he can never say goodbye??
