Stevie's hands? Maybe they are a bit weird - but Christine has the worst hands ever. Good for playing the piano - but when those man hands come up in pictures taken of her....

it's just a funny quote to remind us to live to our fullest potential...

if you actually compare the two pics, Grace looks exactly the same, the eyes, the smile even her skin and creases around her mouth look about the same....The hair is grey and thinning, the jowls much more pronounced, and tho she may have be overwweight for a woman is 70, the picture shows her happy and I see healthy...

volunteer at any senior center and you will see many woman who look like her... old is just old and beauty remains in the eye of the beholder...I think she looks lovely exactly because her looks have aged not changed.

If man hands are code for awesome, stunning, flawless, etc, then we agree.

Most of these photos are downright shocking. It's so interesting what age does to one's appearance. For me, it's a fascinating reminder that even unusually beautiful people get old and jowly like the rest of us. Isn't is wild how we gain skin on our faces and neck, even if we don't gain a significant amount of weight elsewhere?

JannieC you need to post more pictures so we can scrutinize you a little more.

All that and they can play the accordion. All arguments are now invalid.

Oh, I meant "we" as in the human race. I don't think I am gaining much more face just yet.

Add me on Facebook (my profile) if you are on there. You will find ridiculous amounts of photos of me.

By the way, if someone adds me from here, send me a note with your Ledgie name, so I know who you are!

Also, for someone new going to my FB profile, what do you see (before adding me as a friend). I am trying to make sure my profile is totally private.

I hate thinking about Stevie having had surgery but alas, I must concede that she has. The photo included, although not exactly recent (looks circa 2001 to me) and not even that revealing, still shows the tell tale signs of a facelift - just check out where her ears are as opposed to where they should be. Sad but true.

You're talking about the photo from the link in the first post? That photo is from January this year.....
And I'm not sure where you think her ears are supposed to be, they look fine to me on the sides of her head.

I beg your pardon, I stand corrected - the photo is from the Grammy's isn't it? Sorry about that! (hahaha) However, I maintain that her ears are pinned back to the outer side of her head and this indicates cosmetic surgery. She's definitely had it done no matter how much I wish she hadn't. That said, it's entirely her choice and I respect that.
With regard to Pat Benatar, I wouldn't have necessarily believed she'd had surgery but I recently saw a photo from probably two years ago and she had the same ears except worse! I wish they would just leave themselves alone.
PS I love Deborah Harry and think she is incredibly beautiful but it might be time for her to leave the knife alone at this stage.

I had my ears pinned back aged two and know of others who have had the same procedure. Stevie's ears don't look pinned back to me and I've been looking at mine every day for the past 14 years

Try telling Debster to lay off the knife. She's too stubborn but she'll never turn into Joan Rivers. Having seen her up close last month (as in, six feet away close) if she wants to have another facelift then she needs to stick with her current surgeon because he's a magician.

I, like some other Rock'n Roller don't do Facebook or Twitter.
So I guess I'll have to keep on dreaming...
