Aren'tthere some backmasked messages about going out and buying album?
Try 'Never Going Back Again' backwards. I once had a cassette that I had recorded some songs on and it got twisted and played backwards. I'm unsure what part of the song it is. To me it sounds like LB says 'Sorry but I hate you Stevie. May be the reason why it aint working'.

There is also a weirdie noise at the beginning of "Isn't It Midnight" on my 4CD Chain box set. I can't tell who it is, but it's someone making a dorky "Nnnnnyahhh!" sound.

It's reasonable to think the car horn in Sugar Daddy is intentional, given that it appears right after Christine sings "You can pick me up in a big fancy car." I aways thought that was a nice quirky touch.

How does a little quirk left in the mix equate with a hidden message?

It was stupidly worded, but it's hidden in that it's something you don't quite pay attention, and wasn't quite audible when the album first came out.

Cool I played the Chain backwards...

and the hidden message said "Play it forward stupid"...

Gonna check it out on my 2008 Japan SHM-CD version (Warner Bros Records WPCR-13249) of "Rumours"
