Oh, good question. I didn't even think of that. I'm guessing since he commented on the band that they could be rehearsing? I wonder if they are rehearsing new stuff, since they are or were recording very recently as well.

That's a good question. I think he's referring to the studio, because if Stevie and Dave just wrapped a session last night, and he posted this on his Facebook today, there would be no way that Stevie would have already moved on to rehearsing for the live shows yet.

He is most definitely referring to the recording sessions. Take a look at this! And as I suspected, she IS also working with Glen Ballard!!

LOVE me some Annabel Lee. If you can look beyond the simplistic guitar/bass & drum-machine demo arrangement, Stevie actually pulls off arranging this classic Poe poem stanza's to a pleasing sing along melody. With the right producer & vocal performance I envision this could be a nifty song to add to her repertoire. Stevie probably didn't want to jump through the hoops and pay the copyright fee's if approved, otherwise I think she would definitely have recorded this great little ditty. Who better than Stevie could convey the mournful yearning of the beloved Annabel Lee in her kingdom by the sea?

Dave and Glen are co owners of the studio, so that's not surprising he's involved too.

Gotta love Dave & others, but esp. Dave for keeping us in the loop with his tweets & pix in real time, This is a 1st for a Stevie Nicks project! Who needs official press statements when we are getting taunted & teased with tweets from those on the inside. So this got me to wondering, Thus far the sessions on Stevie's new material have been described as:

"sounding EPIC" D.S.

" you won't be disappointed " D.S
"there are lots of ghosts, vampires on Stevie Nicks' upcoming album, but mostly stunning songs." D.W.

So can this project possibly stand up to this hype? Are we going to have such high expectations that we are sure to be disappointed?? Don't get me wrong I think Stevie has it in her & has yet to make her all time great solo recording. And I am sure I will love what is released no matter what. But it does raise the bar a bit to read these soundbites out of any real context other than exciting adjectives that reverberate in our deaf ears.
