Last night I drove upon a Sobriety check point set up by the Police. I was the second car in line. I was at a complete stop. I picked up my cell phone to make a quick call and one of the cops was staring at me as if I had just done something really stupid. He walks over to my car and says to me, "were you just talking on your cell phone?' I said yes and he said,"don't you know it's illegal to use a cellphone while you are operating a motor vehicle in Connecticut?" I said I did not know that. Like, duh, if I had known I wouldn't be doing it in plain sight.

I got a ticket for One Hundred freakin' dollars!!!

Don't you know who I am? I'm Vivica freakin' Fox!!!

^ That's what I should have said to Cyndi Lauper when I met her on Saturday.

You know, when I leaned in to give her a hug.

I'm actually surprised that you don't know the cellphone laws...CT is the state you live in, correct?

In New York, I know you definitely can't talk on a cell phone while driving, but texting should be a definite here. One time, I saw a person using both hands to text while they used their knees to steer. I kid you not.

I thought everyone used this move...? How else can I text on a qwerty, unless I drive with my knees?

Dude.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this your first time meeting her? Did someone get a picture? What did you say to her? Details, woman! I know you've got to be freaking out to the level I would if I met Stevie.

I'm feeling too lazy to quote everyone so I'm doing stars.

Cassie- What a douche. I'm sorry. I would have gone to the movies with you, too.

***

Viv- That really, really, really sucks. You weren't moving! The guy could have cut you a break.

Me- Marissa feels like **** right now.

I learned to play the bass solo from The Chain today. I had previously never picked a bass guitar up in my life. JTIS

First time. Store employee got a picture; she was doing an album signing in Toronto before playing at Pride later that night. She showed up late, but I was one of the first ten people in line.

Conversation went like this:
C: Hi, sweetheaaaawt!
Me: Hey, Cyn! Um.

She started signing the cd, so I asked for a hug. My only chance, right? And she's still fresh, so I knew she wouldn't throw me out. She finished signing and held out her arms. If you had seen her expression, you would have whacked her. She was so cute. I gave her a hug and took that opportunity to thank her for everything her music has done for me. All the same, Rhiannon, but it obviously never stops being meaningful to hear that from people. She wasn't able to personalize everyone's album, but before I left she went, "Whats ya name?" and added it to her signature.

Got my camera back from the store guy. Almost whacked him for taking such a ****ty picture. I'm sure others got pictures; I met a couple of people in line, so they might have something.

Honestly, no freak out. I think if I had never seen her before, I would have been like, fhdsjhffffffffffff. She's a master at making people feel comfortable, so I wasn't nervous or flustered at all. It was more like meeting with an old friend.

Hohan was just sentenced by a Judge to serve 90 days in jail for probation violation.
I hope she has to serve the entire sentence and not be let out early like Paris was.

On a lighter note, the fruit salad I am eating for dinner is delicious!
