Walter Egan 2CD "The Collection": Is it an FR upgrade?

Has anyone bought the 2CD Walter Egan "The Collection" yet?

I have the Razor & Tie CD reissue of Not Shy & the early 90's Hi-Fi/Last Stroll 2fer but I still have Fundmental Roll on vinyl because on that CD 2fer of FR/NS that was released a few years back it sounds like they mastered FR from the vinyl (and the vinyl they had sounds more crackly than the vinyl I have so I figured "why bother?".

So I was hoping if someone here could elaborate on at least the FR portion of this release then I'd know whether it was worth getting it or not.

I have ordered the cd but haven't received it yet, should be worth getting for the acapella version of Magnet and Steel alone, I listened to an excerpt on the amazon.de website and hit the order button :-)

Why buy it just for that? It's the center channel mix. It's been posted here before.

Because some people prefer uncompressed audio over mp3's and still buy cd's. If it weren't for people like that there would be no cd releases anymore at all...
