Greetings All!
Has anyone else noticed this, or are my old ears playing tricks on me? Right after Lindsey sings "...before the night turns blue...", I swear he sings "Once you said goodbye to me I can never say goodbye to you". I must have listened to this 10 times and it sounds like that to me every time. Am I just hearing things? I'd like to know what you hear. Carol "So I go insane like I always do..." L.B. I just took a listen and I heard that too. It's not very subtle, are we supposed to hear that?
It's at the very end of the song for those of you listening for yourselves. |

I think it can be heard either way. The lyrics say "and now I say goodbye to you." I hear it this way, but then I listened again and I also heard it as "I could never say goodbye to you." I guess it just depends on how you hear it.
