Well, one apparently failed attempt was done by Sheryl Crow. Stevie said in an interview that Crow didn't know what to do with the song, so Shanks took it on. There aren't any other POTU demos out there - say from the 80s or 90s but she may have tried it again and we just don't know.

I didn't get much help with this in the Rumours forum, so I thought I'd post it here.

I ran into a guy at the bus station who said he saw the Mac in Largo and thought it was the best show he's ever seen.

He's thinks that he saw them in '77. I know they were in Largo in 1975 and 1978 as I've seen the video footage, but I haven't fond anything about them being there in 1977. Has he just confused the dates or was Fleetwood Mac there in '77? If they were in Largo in '77, does anyone have the audio? I'd like to provide him with it.

besides these... there are 2 demos from the Trouble In ShangriLa recording sessions.

Exactly. She says she "every album that Fleetwood Mac would do I would present this song and Lindsey would say like, 'No, I don't think so.'" So maybe they possibly demoed it again but those demos just never surfaced. Or they just rejected it from the get go each time.

Random question so I'm bumping my thread:
I was just listening to Last.fm (Stevie Nicks radio of course) and they played "Una Mirada" by Buckingham Nicks. This is not on the BN album I've come to know and love and what a crack up to hear them singing in all Spanish. Anyway anybody have this song or info on it since I have no idea what they are saying?
