I messed up - Page 2

I think I'm going to offer to take him to lunch next week when he gets back into town. I know I have to do something to make up for my mistake. It just really pisses me off because I pride myself as someone who can be counted on. Oh, and I do want to add that when I said I wasnt a morning person, that didnt refer to my cmoing thru or not for a friend. This is the first time this has ever happened between he and I. I'm going to chalk it up to him being nervous to be able to ge to the airport in time. We'el see, like they say time will tell.

I can understand him being pissed off. He was probably stressed and worried about getting to his flight on time. But he'll get over it. Just give him time to cool off

But Mikeshmuck was perma banned and that had nothing to do with me. He did that on his own insulting and abusing other Ledgies.
Oh and just for the record, I had nothing to do with anyone being banned. The mods at that time felt that most of those negative posts were aimed at VivFox the person(as in me)not VivFox the actress (as in the real Vivica Fox). I never asked for anyone to be banned but I did feel attacked by several people. I even pm'd Michele asking why Danax6 was banned. Vanessa never said anything negative about me in her posts.

yes, because i got a strike, for what i consider no reason. even you said yourself , then, that i had always been nice to you, even in that specific thread.

have you had any contact with mike, since then? i'm just wondering if something recent's happened, or if you were just pulling his name out of no where. (or from 3 years ago

Like I said I was upset that certain members were harassing me but I had no control over anyone being banned. The Mods decided who, in their opinion deserved banning and so it was. Many Ledgies must have lost some good friends in that ban because to this day people still throw that incident in my face. Michelle, you didn't post here for a very long time. I'm glad to see you are back as you are well loved around here.

Mike was in Nicksfix Chat recently raving to me about why he was banned from here and he was being a dickhead to me and I asked him why, 'cause I didn't even know who he was, and he told me he was perma banned from The Ledge for being an all around jerk. The poster of this thread was on chat that evening and signed off for a few minutes and then Mike said something nasty about Dave and then when Dave came back Mike was acting innocent while I was defending Dave and Dave took Mike's side and defended him against me and Dave said he's known Mike for a long time, they both live in Minneapolis, have gone to many FM shows together, etc.

David, I will say that one of my pet peeves is tardiness- HOWEVER, knowing that this person is a true friend, he will forgive you and you all WILL move on. He probably won't ask for an early morning ride for awhile. This is a classic scenario as to why a backup plan to the backup plan would have been a good idea. Your friend could have called you to wake you up, however.

I agree with the sh*t happens post. You messed up, your friend's disappointment in you is the price you pay. It'll get better in time, but you earned the anger now.

anyway, i believe you in that you weren't purposely trying to get anyone banned. or at least me, and i remember your pm about vanessa, so her as well. i don't talk to mike, ever, so it didn't concern me one way or the other. i was just wondering why you were bringing HIM up, after 3 years. the main reason i haven't posted on here has to do with life/loss of internet, it just so happened, it was close after that incident. no worries.

sorry your friend is mad at you david, and like everyone else has said-if he's any type of good friend, he'll forgive you. but you have some sucking up to do.

I sent a message to the mods to review these lies and insults that Mike cannot defend himself. I hope they can remind vivfox to act appropriately and if he has a personal issue with someone...take it up with them and not spread false information to a board that is read by several hundred people.
