agree - i love it so much! IT has a very Beach Boysey sound to it, and it's the most played song on my ipod. ever. (i just looked this up)

New Statement: The unedited version of Sara should've been on Tusk (i couldn't think of any other statement...)

Agree. I never heard it, but I heard there's a whole lotta verses about each member of the band (wonder what she wrote about John...)

New statement: Based on what I've heard, Law and Order seems like one of the most unintentionally hilarious albums of all-time.

agree! I listen to it whenever i'm feeling down.

New Statement: on Rolling Stone's Revised List of 500 Greatest Songs, "Rhiannon" should not have been pushed down to 488!!!!!!!!

Law and Order is a fine, quirky album and it's hard for me to imagine Lindsey wasn't aware of its hilarity. But then who knows? Russ Meyer was serious about Roger Ebert's campy script for Meyer's Beyond the Valley of the Dolls...

New Statement: Both "You and I's" should have been on Tango--and one of Stevie's side-two disasters swapped out. Alternate problem-solver: "Planets" should have been recorded in place of either "WISYA" or "WTTRS."

Agree completely. Switch WTTRS for You & I Part 1

AGREED. But, Rolling Stone is so biased...

And, speaking of that (I think Go your Own Way was 170 or something), Rhiannon is a better song than Go your own Way (ok, hit me)

I like Rhiannon more than GYOW as well, still a great song but Rhiannon just has 'something more' to it.

Agree. Go Your Own Way is my favorite F-Mac song, but Rhiannon is great too and it did put them and Stevie on the map.

New statement (this one is gonna be from silly boredom): Based on this pic of Lindsey here, you do NOT wanna be in a dark alley with him.

I'll take that as an agree.

New statement: It is a travesty of the highest degree that Lindsey didn't make Rolling Stone's list of the top 100 guitarists

Rolling Stone is definitely biased. I find it funny that their 2 first songs of the Greatest Songs of All-time are "Like a Rolling Stone" by Bob Dylan, and "Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones. Ha. Surprising. So I absolutely agree...though Lindsey isn't on any guitarist list.

(I'll let someone make a new statement, don't have any interesting idea)

Music and movie lists are more or less created by childish idiots who want to be "obscure" or to look "cool". I say just ignore 'em.

OT, but does anyone know what songs, aside from Blue Denim, does Stevie write about Lindsey's eyes?

New statement: As good a title Rumours is for the album, it's original title, Yesterday's Gone, was just as good

Disagree. Yesterday's Gone just doesn't sound like it'd fit with the music as well. Yesterday's Gone would fit better with wistful or nostalgic songs more than what ended up on Rumours.

New statement: Lindsey should have kept his Gift of Screws songs and released them as a solo album instead of SYW.

Disagree. GOS is already good enough as a solo album. And Fleetwood Mac is always a way for Lindsey to promote his songs, because, face it, Fleetwood Mac sales a lot more than Lindsey, Stevie or Christine solo. Well, that's how I think. Also, I always thought that Fleetwood Mac were better together (even if, without Christine, it's not the same thing anymore).

New statement : Lindsey was not the only driving force behind Fleetwood Mac. As much as I love him, take a song like Rhiannon : listen to the Buckingham/Nicks version, and then, listen to the White Album version, and tell me how you feel about it. The McVie's and Mick were definitely there too.

Agree. Lindsey did have a huge part, but if it wasn't for Mick, John, Stevie, and Christine too, they wouldn't be the wonderful supergroup we know and love today.

New statement: Mick is a way better drummer than Phil Collins
