I think it must be. You wear garters to keep your stockings up and we say that if someone will get angry but while still joking around (or sometimes just angry) that they'll use your guts to make them

Not a Sheryl fan? I'm actually not a BIG fan myself. But I can say that she is a gifted gal with her singing/songwriting capabilites and musicianship talents. Obviously respected by her peers. I think some Stevie fans were put off by the 'love affair' that Sheryl and Stevie had around TISl. Everywhere Stevie was, Sheryl was. Kind of grated on my nerves too. However, I do adore the fact that they have a special rock and roll sisterhood bond between them.

So by your response is it safe to say that it's not so much that Stevie can't perform live duets well, but it's her choice of people she does them with?


Another duet I think she did rather well on with Vanessa Carlton.



And although it doesn't really count as a duet, Vanessa and Stevie give a riveting performance of 'The One'. A stellar example of how well Stevie harmonizes with so many others, as someone said earlier in this thread.

That's about right, IMO, yeah. But I LOVE Vanessa Carlton yet I didn't really like her duets on Soundstage
