I do agree that I do not think it is a fake, but the words/language used seems a very non Stevie thing to say... so it probably is Karen. However, I am hoping it does lead to more info. and connection with the fans for any upcoming album and/or tour.

Maybe Dave Stewart talked up the benefits of using twitter to reach out to fans, etc...
and she wants to give it a try.

Maybe someone should ask her how Lindsey is doing?
It's about time she started using Twitter. I agree that it's probably Karen doing the typing for her but it's still progress in the techno world for Stevie.

It made me laugh when I saw it...I had been waiting all day

Dave Stewart probably told her "Listen Stevie, I'm sick & tired of intercepting messages for you and everyone tweeting me to ask about you and what you're doing...you need to do something about this so they will leave me alone!!!"

That, and I bet she gleaned the importance of internet social networking marketing (especially FREE marking such as Facebook and Twitter) from her time spent with Dave. Social networking sites really are the best way to get a grass roots movement started these days. Just look at the whole Betty White/SNL thing! We had a Facebook group save a 110 year old firehouse from being razed here in Charlotte. I don't think you can downplay the power or importance of social networking in the modern world... maybe Stevie's pragmatic side is realizing that.
