Yeah, I'm definitely that selfish. I care much more about myself than Stevie. I care about some other people as much as myself, but I don't expect any of those people to be at a Stevie Nicks concert.

The people, they love her
And still they are the most cruel....
I'm thrilled & slightly envious of all of you that have the opportunity seeing her on this next tour. I think it's awesome that Stevie is still wanting to perform after 35 yrs, as for her setlist this time around, she will defiantly be adding some new songs. I 'm hoping she's making plans for an Australian tour

I agree with those who say that the audience expects Rhiannon, Dreams and Landslide. Edge of 17 and Stand Back too. So, those aren't up for exclusion. But that still leaves us with a lot of songs that the casual fans really don't come expecting to hear at all (INTK, OTR, Rock and Roll. So, those are the ones that can be swapped out. When she puts something in that no one knows but us, like FFG, and hangs onto it, even though I believe it's outside her comfort zone, then I really applaud that.

Haha I was joking with my post but I agree! Leave in the popular stuff but change up the not-so-popular stuff... oh and lower the key on Rhiannon

She could still play Rhiannon, Landslide, Dreams, GDW, EO17 and Stand Back every night, I don't think it's too much to ask to rotate the other 8 songs in the setlist.

Thumbs up

I want Nightbird...maybe a medley...she should do like Edge of Seventeen and then go into nightbird and end with the part of Gypsy.."I still see your bright eyes".....That would be killer..for her to blend some songs that have the same meaning~

I can't believe people are talking about selfishness for wanting to hear some different songs. That's ridiculous.

Actually, my point was that people aren't considering what Stevie and the rest of the audience, who probably dont know wtf things like Forest of the Black Roses and Nightbird are, want but only thinking about themselves. It wasn't people talking about selfishness, it was me. Please don't drag anyone else down with me.

But whatever. You'll get to the shows and forget about it so all these ridiculous threads will be even more pointless than they are now. Either that or get out and complain, in which case, I'm sorry you wasted your money.

exactly, no one is suggesting she stop singing her most well known songs, but the rest of what has become her standard set list should be changed up this time around. She has several other well known HIT songs that could be in there...Talk to Me, Rooms on Fire, I Cant Wait ( yeah i know she doesnt do it live). Even bringing Sara or gypsy back to her solo shows would be a welcome change. and I think we all agree if the best we are gonna get is a 14 or 15 song set, then there should be absolutely no cover songs. She has more than enough of her own material to fill out such a small list of songs.

Hahaha,Hi Again dont go.or she might miss you.I'm glad just to see her on the road, again I dont care if she sings the same song for the 90 minutes. She will be 62 next week. I have to give her credit to keep it up after all these years.Yes I know the set list is stale, bet I'm still injoying the concert.and I love to see her add some of those older hits the were mentioned earlier, also some covers of better tunes I like,R &R wasn't one of my favorites but she did a nice job on it.Circle Dance was ok ,but I've never played the original.also The Dave Mathews tune was ok ,but I never got into the original.I the hear her do more popular tunes then these.Or as said, keep to her tunes only. She knows fans like us follow her on one tour with going to a dozen of the same shows in the same tour,She should take the setlist and
put it in the shuffle mode,as some other artist do.Instead of Dreams is the 3rd tune into the setlist on one night ,the next night it will be sung at number 9th tune into the setlist. That will make it very interesting, but it probably drive Waddy and the crew nuts every night getting the video and the lights all lined up.

So upon pondering Stevie and all the glory she doth behold, why exactly does she have to do her "hits"? I can think of plenty of artists who don't do their hits live. If she continuously does Landslide, GDW, Dreams and other typical novelty song, she will be not much more than a novelty to the public. Which this is all somewhat contradictory anyway to complain about her having to do hits, when there are hits she doesn't do anyway! One of the only Stevie songs my mom loves or even knows is Talk To Me, and I'm sure there are plenty of people just like that. I'm sure there will be more people seeing her in concert than there will be buying her june/july/august/2012 new album. So after this rant, I just basically want to wrap it up by saying that I don't want Stevie to become a novelty has-been, and a refreshing setlist will cure that!
