I have no idea how much tickets cost during all of the years I've attended shows. I've seen Stevie solo one time each tour since RAL. I attended three FM shows on their SYW tour.

I bought one sweatshirt at the RAL Jones Beach concert (long since lost). I bought a t-shirt recently online for $7. I've probably spent a total of $100 on CD's and DVD's?

So basically, I'm nuts lol! And high interest rates on credit cards suck! They need to come up with a Visa or Mastercard specifically for Stevie Nicks/FM where you can earn points redeemable for merchandise, live shows, etc. Brilliant idea if I do say so myself!

CD's and DVD's: $500
Live shows: $3,500 (keep in mind I sometimes go through brokers)
Various Stevie collectables (posters, jewelry, photos, wine glasses, etc.) : $2,000
Concert Merchandise: $700
Stevie-inspired clothing: $500
Computer hardware for demos/live shows: $300
Hours spent on The Ledge: priceless

Total: $7,500 (and that's being conservative)

How much do you estimate you've spent on Stevie? (and please mention over how many years). If you can think of any other Stevie expenditures I'll add to my list if applicable.
God I can't calculate what I spent since I was 16yrs old when I started working but my parents got me thru the columbia house record club The Album Tusk back in 1979 since I was 9 yrs old to present had to be thousands of dollars if not double or triple what you had maybe quadruple what you got thru all the items and stuff my mind goes bonkers just thinking how much i spend and I wont buy tickets thru a broker always thru ticketmaster or ticketron back in the day i think it was. good post we really get our calculators out but I am a big fan just like alot of everyone on here i will not and refuse to give those scalpers more money than the tickets worth the scalpers rob you and stevie of good money. I rather sit in nose bleeds than pay scalper prices for a ticket I have had great luck on my own with ticketmaster getting front row or second row seats a few weeks before show which is awesome. I had my moments of shaking stevie's hands at the edge walk and Lindseys hands as well at the FM shows so was very lucky and that was on the Say You Will Tour and Gold Dust Tour and Finally Met Stevie at Barnes and Noble CD/DVD Signing last March 31,2009 in Union Square In NYC.

Hmm. I went through about $2200 to $2500 on The 'Say You Will' tour alone.
eBay? Maybe $1000 in ten years --swag, posters, missing tourbooks- finally got a Street Angel one last month!
New cd releases? $28 in the past 7 years (the 'Soundstage' Warner-store pre-order in '09 that was the Stevie cd/dvd package). It hadthe nicest cover, by far, I think. Much better than the photos used in the store releases of the separate cd and dvd. I pre-ordered with the lithograph within 24 hours and was too late for the signed copy, didn't care.
I got sent a free second lithograph when I went all whiny-bitch on WB in an e-mail because my first litho got water-damaged by heavy rains the week it was delivered. They seriously didn't know how to protect the litho a bit, the 2nd was mailed the same way and had little tan cardboard dings in it.
Both look swell matted and framed, however. Oh, I guess the 2 cd version of 'SYW' was in the past 7 years also. Whenever the 3 expanded releases of 'Rumours', 'Tusk' and 'FM FM' were released might add another $100 to the tally, counting all 4.
Back to the 1980s, it was probably transportation to the Stevie and/or Fleetwood Mac concerts that cost the most, concert tickets were so cheap back then. I still have my Wild-Heart t-shirt, sleeveless shirt with pic of her at the mic sideways, the tag says SMALL and it still fits, though snug! I've been considering having it turned into a throw pillow
My 'Street Angel' heavy sweatshirt seems to have stretched into a mega-huge extra large over the years, I've never had clothing get larger from increased washer-dryer use, that Street Angel shirt is huge. The neck part (ribbing? ribbon?) is totally shot, but ok to sleep in, the rest of the shirt has held up quite well for being 16 years old! Wow, 'Street Angel' was 16 years ago... Time warp!

Lawdy, I don't even know if I know how much I've spent over the years.

I know for shows (two Stevie solo, one Mac), I spent around $2,000 total, if we count airfare, hotel, etc.

I went through about 2 years of serious vinyl collecting - other than the usual albums, I focused mainly on 12" singles, both promo and mass-release, domestic and import, as well as the old vinyl bootlegs. So I'd guess about $2,000 - $2,500 on vinyl. That sounds like a lot of money, but my collection is pretty huge and includes a lot of rare junk in mint condition that you just can't find very often.

CDs, DVDs - mebbe $200?

Posters, tshirts, tourbooks, magazines, books, jewelry, etc - mebbe $1,500

I have a LOT of stuff, even after selling off a large chunk of it to you fine folks a few months ago.

Everything is in storage right now until I move into the new place, but Boy What Carries Things keeps telling me he's going to break in and sell all my Mac stuff and run away to some tropical clime with it. Naturally, I told him I'd break his kneecaps should he be so horrible.

All the same, baby. All the same.

"You never know what I'll do. I've resequenced my show. I'm a master at sequencing. I'm the one who sequenced for Fleetwood Mac. I sequenced 'Rumours.' Everyone loves my sequences. They're fun.''

hmmmmm

i'd say $5000

Lightbulb

"And in Economic news today, the Dow was down 200 points, NASDAQ was up 25 points, and Stevie-Related Sales for the past year have totalled 10 million dollars, with 5,000 more jobs created!"

I don't even want to know! I have traveled everywhere to see her, usually multi nights and sometimes broker tix, about 30 times! Flights, tickets, UGH I really don't want to know. But I am going to try to figure it out and will post later.

I'm with you there! Although I just did a back-of-the-envelope calculation of what I spent just for 2009, and I stopped at around $7500 before deciding I didn't really want to know the full tally for the year. Of course I'm including all of the travel expenses, meals, hotels, transfers, etc. that were not directly related to FM shows, but more incidental to them. That being said, I would "do it all over again"- it was totally worth it and then some. As Mick would say, I had a ball...
