I miss Stevie soo much...

I just want to tell you ALL my friends something.
I haven't been on The Ledge in months because I haven't had time because of school.
I have changed as a person this past 6 months. I'm different now. I listen to another kinds of music, Metallica for example. Because now I'm singing in a metal band and school takes a lot of my sparetime and then when I'm not in school a rehers with my band...and that means that Stevie and Fleetwood Mac are like drifting away, it seems...I don't know why..but I don't listen to them that much that I always did...you know, I was a huge fan (and OF COURSE I sitll am a huge fan!!!!! I'll always be!!) but now I don't spend that much time watching dvd's. Of course I listen to Stevie a lot but not like I use to do...Have you felt like this?????? I don't want to feel guilty for not listen to Stevie and watch dvd's all the time..please.

Now I'm crying...I miss her so...I miss you guys...crying...I want you to know that it was YOU all who changed my life and made me belive in myself and helped me be the one I always wanted to be

It's ok, honey. It doesn't mean anything, other than you're expanding your horizons and doing other things. I mean, as dedicated Stevie fans, I think we go through little spurts of fandom, I know I have. Sometimes it just depends on whats going on in our lives. I've been a long time fan since I was a little girl and I'm into all kinds of music. Stevie stays pretty consistent on my ipod and I feel more connected and in tune with her lyrics most of the time, but music is a heavy thing to get into. When something else that is new and great comes into your life, you tend to spend time exploring and playing around with it. Thats how I am anyway.

Don't miss Stevie, she is always there, haha. Have fun with what you're doing and when you feel the urge to listen to a Stevie song, you'll feel like it. And then that might pull you back in for awhile. I think thats what is so great about her songs. They are so timeless and easy to relate to in most cases. The music has already enriched your life so much. You have nothing to feel bad about. It's all good. Have fun with whatever you're doing!

And we love you too my dear and all your contributions to this board. Fandom and enthusiasm for the band goes through ups and downs for most of us, and we don't have to stay the same forever.
Don't feel disloyal or guilty for it ... what you're listening to or doing now doesn't take away from how special she was or is to you.

And Stevie is right there any time you want to pick her up again, just like we are. *hugs*

(just something to say, I'm strucked by how you are all kind and nice to each other, it's really refreshing, and it makes me love The Ledge even more.)

I think you shouldn't feel guilty about it, and tell yourself that it's no big deal, really. (even if it probably is right now, for a young person that loves music).You're moving on, and that's the most positive thing.

I think sometimes when you love a band so much, you do have to take a break for a while. It doesn't mean you don't love them anymore, or that they mean any less to you. It's really cool that you're widening your musical horizons! You should go off and just do your thing. And then when you do come back to FMac/Stevie, you'll really appreciate the music in a new way and it'll mean more to you than it did before.
I'm the same with Hanson.. They've been MY band since I was 10. I'm 23 now. That's a long time to love a band, as I'm sure a lot of you Ledgies can understand with the Mac etc! Atm I'm on a huge Hanson kick because they have a new album and tour out soon, but before that I've hardly listened to them for the past year or two. But that doesn't mean I love them any less!

I don't know why but reading what you all said made me realize that this is just another step in my life. But thinking about how much Stevie mean to me and that she isn't in my head every day anymore makes it so hard to not cry..I think this can't be real. I would never leave Stevie and The Mac I said..never. But well, I haven't...but it feels like that. I still have my posters on my wall xD and sing her songs xD And yeah, a new album, new songs, would absolutly bring me back to you. To my favourites xD

Chalk up one more out of many thousands, who Stevie (indirectly) has had a positive influence on... Not too shabby for somebody who some people call "evil," and not too bad of a way to make a buck or 40 mil. Especially while running through rainbows and castles of candy. Ka-ching, baby! ...
