Anyway you could upload 'Stand Back' from that show? I have the DVD and she lets loose on this one. I remember the crowd gave her an extended applause after that one!

Do we even know if this was "stevies idea" or did she hear it was happening and then decide to "be involved"? we dont know right.. just what the INTERVIEWER said about what Mick said.

Just that we KNOW shes already worked with Michelle Branch who shes already friends with anyway. and (who i think is awesome by the way. and not totally country . AND i love her songs with SANTANA)

We just need more input.

I have that show on DVD and its awesome!! Very high energy all the way through. I thought her 05 shows, both with and without Henley were some of her best in recent years. She was totally rejeuvenated and looked fabulous.

Exactly. I think someone had the idea to make this album and they approached the band and Mick, Lindsey, and John were like psh **** that, but Stevie was like what eh what the hell, why not? Also, I don't think Mick has his facts right. A "country version of Rumours" eh?? I know Michelle Branch was in The Wreckers, which was kinda country, but she isn't your typical country gal, especially in her solo work. Also, she recorded Say You Love Me... now, I don't know what version of Rumours y'all (I'll bring out my Texas accent for this country thread

) listen to, but as far as I know, SYLM was not on Rumours, but rather Fleetwood Mac. So maybe it was originally slated as a country Rumours and La Nicks went and there and said "What the hell guys? We already have a Rumours tribute, lets do one with songs from our entire catalogue. And lets not get too carried away with this "country" ****, okay? We don't wanna target such a specific audience, let's widen the scope of this to accommodate not only country fans, but music lovers in general!" And Mick is just unaware of these changes.

I like Michelle Branch she's good.they better get ahold of Sarah Buxton shes a big Stevie fan too also has the voice.also lead singer of the country group.Highway 101's Paulette Carlson she has the Stevie voice also look like Stevie too.

I'm in Austin, TX. For some reason Stevie hasn't been here since oh 1986 or something like that. I just moved to Austin tho about 9 months ago, so if she does tour I am sure she will go to Dallas or Houston, which are about 3 hours away. Before living here I lived in west texas which was hours and hours away from Dallas and Houston, so I never had the money to take a trip to go see Stevie.

Take both of us! I've never been either, I iz poor all the time. But luckily my bff is taking me this year

I could have went to Unleashed, but I didn't bother. I now see that it was a stoopid decision, but I didn't want to pay $1000 to hear GDW and GYOW.

It's o.k. Don't be mad at yourself. I paid sooooo much money to go to 2 shows in the first 5 rows and I'm still paying lol. Plus I was with someone who brought me down so that didn't help either.
