I took a break from writing a paper tonight and decided to go outside since the rain had stopped and decided to write this song. Feel free to tell me what you think!

Helpless Demand
Written- April 24, 2010

Tonight I took a walk in the rain.
Not even the street lights looked the same.
I know life will succeed because I'm strong.
But there's always wonder- the feeling when she's along.
You can study for year, stand alone instead.
For nobody knows, the dreams within your head.

Chorus:
The stark ground pavement does not move from under you.
When inside, you seem to be close but for some few.
Create and build all of the future in your head.
Of stone walled visions of success carried with lead.
The stage is solid upon which you will stand.
Designs of love- a helpless demand.

The streets were covered by the leaves of the tree.
I crossed the bridge to where success could lie.
But there was no one left beside my stride.
Why must all screen glossed scenes be denied?
For you can read the book and gain the trust,
Although your life will become all of lust.

At what point do we see the tides turing?
For all it's been is a deception burning.
Though the doors have not yet been open to fate,
He wonders at what point it's too late.

I must say, I loved this! You're best piece of writing yet imo! I can't think of anything I'd change about it!
(Btw, why did you wait for the rain to stop before going outside and writing? Didn't you want to be the subject of your song? )

Thank you so much!!! It is a decent lyric I think- I like it! I couldn't walk out in the rain because I was working on writing a paper. The walk was kind of my break!
