Memo to Stevie:

ILLUME IS PRONOUNCED I-LOOM! And it isn't Nag Champra, it's Nag Champa! Is anyone else peeved by these two things in the song??

LOL..yea..the pronunciation of Illume kinda threw me too...as for the Nag Champra thing..someone mentioned something about the name being copyrighted or some silly thing like that..I don't care..it is still my fav song at the moment

Acutally if you wanna be technical, unless you consider that it's short for the word 'illuminate,' illume isn't even a real English word. So who cares how it's pronounced? And by the way it's still my favorite song too!

But I think Stevie took the word as being French to the extreme...by pronouncing it incorrectly. My dictionary says i-loom. However, there's no excuse for Nag Champra!!

Well, here's of course a thought. She says "Illume says the candle that I burn" (or something like that), meaning there IS a word on the candle that says "Illume." Maybe it's SUPPOSED to be pronounced French.

"Illume" is actually a brand name of candles. You can buy them in Illuminations stores or even in department stores like Bloomingdales. They literally do have 'Illume' written on the side of them. They're also rediculously expensive!
