She was the queen of rock & roll and she was loving every minute of it. Plus she was a babe. A sexy, hot "girl" that me and all my buddies were madly in love with.....well, except for Lewis who still carried a jones for Linda Ronstadt. Oh yeah, I would love to go back just to be in the crowd and feel that excitement again.
I wish I had been a Stevie fan in the 80's. I mean first of all I was really young and then there was that other woman, what's her name again...oh Madonna, who just overall appealed to me and my little girlfriends at the time. I definitely knew of Stevie/FM's tunes but don't think I was mature enough to understand the magnitude and significance of the music and really comprehend what Stevie was all about.

The original definitely wasn't Stevie's finest moment but there were still some really good parts that made it into the released version (Outside the Rain, one more link in the chain part, No Spoken Word, and scary edge wail).

Even knowing what I know now about Stevie's performance and state, I still think I would walk away from that show satisfied. BATB would have been worth my money alone.
Been a long time here, too. I actually just remember that it was horrible quality. I think Stand Back was the messiest of all.

Listening to a BD show in the car today I realized how truly sad I am that the only Stevie I have seen live/will ever see live is the um, this is hard for me to say, stiff and mechanical-robot like Stevie . It's my fault though. I should have started going to FM/Stevie shows long before 2003!

I think I'm getting a reputation around here..........while you make a valid point, I must say I find maybe 94% of every Stevie hot. I look back at some Stevie pics from the OSOTM/Timespace/SA period and wince a bit.

Yes *hides*. I mean I've seen/heard clips here and there but never sat there and paid close attention. Now I have to wait 4-6 damn weeks for my DVD to arrive. Oh and I still need to find someone who has a home theater with surround sound to watch it in. That should be easy .

Also keep in mind that I have serious memory problems due to a specific incident so I'm thinking I've seen it and just don't remember. I get really sad sometimes thinking about all of the Stevie stuff I experienced that is now lost in my mind but in a way it's kind of co0l b/c I get to experience some of those things as if it were the first time and we all know how great that feels!
