Read the directions Louie!
The catch is you would be the same age you are now and have all of the knowledge about Stevie that you’ve gained over the years (as opposed to how old you would have been had you been there for real).

I would have to say The Dance tour, just so that I could really soak in Christine's last presence with them.

I love the lyrics in your sig. I never really realized how profound they were since I'm not a huge fan of Silver Girl.

Oh, I was just being my usual silly self! I pay attention... somewhat!

I'd definitely have to see a Rock A Little show for all it's cocainey goodness!

This is tough, because I want to see all of the tours for totally different reasons.

For a Fleetwood Mac show, I'd have to go with either an early Tusk show or one of the LA forum shows in '82... Really, it would be Mirage hands down if it wasn't for Tusk era "Rhiannon".

For Stevie, I'd say the Wild Heart tour, easy.

i guess my second choice would be the TUSK Tour. I mean, by that time they were easily one of the most successful bands EVER and all the screaming I've heard from the Tusk live videos??? ZOMG it was like a Beatles concert! The atmosphere would have been amazing, just the feeling of..."you're seeing Fleetwood Mac......"

i hope this made even a little sense
If you had been at the real Red Rocks show, you probably would have asked for your money back. Have you heard the original bootleg?

I would've gone to a Tusk show for sure. Specifically the St. Louis one filmed for the documentary. But I would kill to see a white album/Rumours era show just for the Rhiannon's. Seeing them in 1975 would be interesting, with the knowledge of just how big they were going to get (literally, for some. )

For solo Stevie, I would like to be dropped by that time machine into the front row of a Wild Heart show.

Ah makes sense. I thought maybe it was just an epic show or something.

Like everyone else I would have loved to attend a BD show. I'd probably pick one of the shows she did in Texas, the one that was outside? That looked like it would be so much fun!

For the Mac, definitely one of the two Forum shows in 82.'

Lindsey...A date on the tusk tour. Probably the NZ show.

Christine...Any Behind the Mask show....she was brilliant on this tour. Would have loved to see Save Me live.

yes i have, actually.....not the best, unfortunately. I think i would've loved to see RR because of the doves, the atmosphere, etc. Vocally, i would want to see Wild Heart. The Landover video is one of my favorites.

also, what are these Forum shows we're all talking about? I may be just forgetting, i probably know what it is and i just forget....

Wow...this is hard. I'll stick to just FM for now. Ideally, I'd like to have a time machine so I could create my own show by combining different acts from different shows...Angel from Tusk, SOTM from Mirage, Silver Springs from The Dance, Beautiful Child from SYW, etc.

But...you asked for one, so I'll jump on board the Mirage - Forum show bandwagon, because I can't even imagine what seeing FM in that era, at the height of all the excess, would have been like.

$11.50. That just depresses me.

I'd want to go back and see the Dallas show of '83. My favorite bootleg.

If we're talking the Mac, I'd have to see the Tusk tour. Still some good Rhiannons, the best versions of Sara and of course, SOTM.

It's been a LONG time since I listened to this, but if I rememeber correctly, Beauty and the Beast wasn't really overdubbed much. It sounds relatively the same in the original and released versions. And imo BATB is the highlight of Red Rocks. The original definitely wasn't Stevie's finest moment but there were still some really good parts that made it into the released version (Outside the Rain, one more link in the chain part, No Spoken Word, and scary edge wail).

Even knowing what I know now about Stevie's performance and state, I still think I would walk away from that show satisfied. BATB would have been worth my money alone.

And that my friend, is a beautiful thing. To think how this woman has had such an effect on so many people for all these years is simply divine.
