OMG sometimes it's impossible for me to get this song out of my head. Especially the quirky way he says 'Miranda.' I love this song too, I'm glad it made the cut.

I'm interested in hearing Lindsey talk about what this song is about, if he will. It's a little bit atypical of some of his lyrical work, but it does kind of remind me of Mary Lee Jones in subject matter. I'm just curious about the inspiration.

There are so many great songs on GOS and some of them were left out of Say you will- but I never liked Miranda and this did make it on the new album. It even didn't make it on my GOS CD. What about this chorus- I think it's awful shallow pop. But I agree with Seteca- let's wait and see what the new version will be like. The song has potential and with Stevie on and a different or somehow changed chorus it could be a surprise.

I didn't care for the LB version, but I love the FM version. It's weird, but it's the one tune I've heard so far that I can keep listening to over and over. I must say ( and will again...) that I am so dissapointed in "Smile At You"....Bllllaaaand!!!!

Yeah, Steve! Just lucky for you we're so bloody close now to the release I couldn't care if all of those "I have the CD - haha - here's my non-informative 2 cents" people took over the forum! I can wait a few days rather than get annoyed with those people!

Meanwhile, if you made a mistake and you haven't actually heard an FM version then exuse me.

Well, first..no, I don't have the whole CD, just a few tracks. So, I guess I'm not one of those "I have the CD - haha"..people. Sorry if you're so "annoyed".

I like "Miranda" a lot. Repetition doesn't bother me so long as it is done right. Plus, the lyrics on this tune are among the best Lindsey has ever written.

I fear only that if they changed it significantly, it may turn out like the watered-down Peacekeeper.

I don't think he was tying to be mean or anything, but you must understand how when someone comes in and says "I like the FM version better" when no one else has heard it or has any idea what that person is talking about, and therefore can not really converse about it in any meaningful way... that can be a tad off-putting. Just put yourself in our shoes and I'm sure you'll understand what I mean.
