Peacekeeper seems to have slowed in its rapid movement up the Radio and Records Airplay charts.

AC #14 same as last week

Hot AC #18 same as last week

AAA #7 #9 last week

THe number of plays for the song was up on each of these charts however

Next week will be pivitoal to the songs airplay life if airplay for song decreases it will signal a shorter than hoped heavy airplay life for the song.

Radio has given PeaceKeeper an opportunity in a lot of martkets and formats. That is more than a lot of older bands have gotten. Now the question is will the song have the legs to run the race.

I think it depends on how the album starts from next week on. If it really gets into and then stays succesfully in the album charts (I have no idea if it will or not) then I suppose radio stations will give the albums single additional airplay. BTW, I still cannot evaluate if rank 84 is a success (regarding all in this forum discussed aspects) or not.

Stefan,
I'd consider #84 on the Hot 100 a success in today's musical climate. It's rare for rock songs to make the chart at all (the Hot 100 has increasingly been dominated by hip-hop and R&B), and even rarer for a dinosaur act like Fleetwood Mac to break in.
Sure, #84 wouldn't have been that impressive for Mac back in the 1970s or 1980s, but today it's an accomplishment.
I'm really pleased (and surprised) that it's gone as far as it has.
