Default New Tour Old Material "Survivor" ROUND 6

Sorry for the delay, but here we go again
Vote off the classic setlist song you think needs to go, in favor of new/obscure material , or just needs to go period. We're narrowing it down to our top 3 classic setlist songs.
I can't believe Big Love is out. But I'll gladly say goodbye to it if it means an acoustic performamce of Red Rover .

I'm gonna go with GYOW again. I'd much rather see something old and different. I wouldn't miss it, whereas I would really, really miss I'm So Afraid.
Poll closes Wednesday 4/9.

Exclamation My pick...

I chose Gypsy because I just can't get into the electric OR acoustic version of the song live...the MAGIC of the Mirage version is just UNTOUCHABLE...like with Dreams.

I will DIE and I mean DIE if ISA is cut from the setlist!!!!!!!!!!!!! DIE I AM SAYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I chose Gypsy this time. I really love the song but I liked it during Mirage time and with more of a rocking beat and not the acoustic sound it has now developed. I love Gold Dust Woman and hope that she continues to do it.

If they cut "I'm So Afraid" from the setlist, I will be extremely upset. I agree that "Gypsy" doesn't sound as good live as it does on record, although back on the Mirage tour, they did a good job of it. Bill

Well, if I had to pick between GDW and Gypsy, I'd want to keep Gypsy. I think this song will sound great on this tour with just Lindsey and Stevie. But GDW has that three-part harmony sound that Christine helped create.

I picked I'm So Afraid. (Don't kill me, Christy. ) I mean, I love it, and it was awesome live, but I just can't kick off the others in favor of it.

Unhappy Well...

unless there is a new live arrangement of "Gypsy" I will have to vote it out of the set...It just doesn't work musically in a live environment, Brian J.

I prefer the Dance version of Gypsy, simply because Stevie sounds the worst she ever did on the Mirage tape.

I pretty much agree Brian, but for the live acoustic rendition with Lindsey and Stevie at the (2000?) AHI benefit. Her revised vocal arrangement pays off, and Lindsey's guitar arrangement does the song justice. It really brings out the heart in the song, rather than the gloss and glitter of the video and the full band performances with the organ and electric guitar etc.

I would kill to see this AHI version live.

I chose Go Your Own Way. They aren´t going to cut it from the list, but I would like to see it being replaced by Blue Letter or better yet Frozen Love in an epic ten minute version!!

Greetz,

BuckMacNicks.
