I have a suspicion that Maureen may have retitled some of the tracks to make it appear that she had stuff that no one else had. Then once you got the disc you found out it was the same song you already had. She wasn't the easiest person to deal with if you had a problem. I got a disc from her once that was blank and she wouldn't send me a replacement until I had returned the defective disc. Her fear was that I was trying to get a free disc from her.
For those that didn't deal with her I'm not alone in being one of the people that paid $35 for one of her discs. The price she said wasn't for the music, it was for "the artwork and supplies". The artwork certainly wasn't worth $35
Of course this is back before sharing over the internet made this process so much easier (and way cheaper!!!)

For some reason, Maureen gave me everything; I didn't have to pay for anything. But she turned on me in Late 1998/Early 1999. But I think her Well of Stevie had run dry by then anyway.

She did distribute some amazing Stevie songs that none of us had ever heard before!

Yes, please. I know I have it on CD but this will be easier.

Speaking of this and sorry it may be a dumb question (anyone can answer) but do people still trade Stevie CD's? Back in my day we all had trade lists and burned CD's for each other. Is everything done with MP3's nowadays? I don't have most of my live/demo/outtake collection in iTunes. Would have to spend a lot of time uploading which I wouldn't mind.

I wish! The sound quality on many demos and shows is bad enough as ".wav" files, never mind once they are converted into mp3s.

For example, "My Heart" and "Chanel"... those were leaked as mp3s and they have such a high-ended and "metallic" sound, and the bass is so distorted. I wish they had originally been "distributed" as .wav files so we could hear what they really supposed to sound like.

That is exactly why I bought so much from her. She had stuff that was for the most part decent to near perfect quality (compared to much of what had been out there) and she had stuff that no one else had. I looked forward to hearing from her every week to see when new stuff was available.

And does anyone know who "Christian" is? I have a friend name Christian and I played it for him, forgetting what the lyrics said. He looked at me and said "so... you don't want to be friends anymore?". Ooops!
