Does anybody remember what Stevie was asked when her response was "when pigs fly!"? I can totally hear her saying that but can't for the life of me remember what it was in response to. I want to say she was referring to Lindsay Lohan playing her in a bio-pic but I think her response to that was "over my dead body" which is pretty funny too.

This doesn't really have to do with Stevie-isms but since it's my thread I can be off-topic. So here's my issue - it has always been important to me when it comes to Stevie's songs to know who wrote the music and who wrote the lyrics. For some reason the song is not quite as special if it wasn't all written by her. The nicksfix songs and lyrics section is a great resource for this type of into and on some songs it says "music by..." or "words by..." but on others it says "written by Stevie Nicks and so and so" but doesn't discern between who wrote the music and who wrote the lyrics or if they worked together. Does this make sense to anyone? For example, under I Can't Wait it says "written by s. nicks, r. nowels, e. pressly" but doesn't say which one wrote the lyrics and which one wrote the music. Of course I know that she wrote the lyrics and not the music but for many others I don't know. It's really annoying!

Well, you know, I'd have to say that out of all my, you know, favorite Stevie-isms, "you know" would have to be one of them. You know? Even though it drives me, you know, well, insane.

Been singing "you know what I mean" all day. She also likes "like" a lot.

If you throw in "dream" a few times you may just have her greatest hits..

but that's truly the beauty of Miss Nicks. If any pop artist out there today sang repetitively lyrics like that, it would, chances are, be considered annoying...

Haha very true, I personally love the repetitiveness of her lyrics. Very mysterious. Every time I try to watch a live bootleg of her, my friend says "well, well, well", mocking her, and gets annoyed and walks out hahaha.
