The song title "Everybody Loves You" reminds me of one of the last Unleashed shows when a fan yelled out "I love you, Stevie!" and Lindsey said, "Someone loves you Stevie...we all love Stevie." LOL!

It's just hard waiting to see what ends up happening with this. As a fan who has never seen new material, the wait and see thing is HARD!

Just imagine those painful "long" waits we had to endure for new Stevie material between Bella Donna and Mirage and The Wild Heart!

And then, even during the "endless" wait for Rock A Little, we still got "Violet and Blue" and "Sorcerer" in 1984 as well as "I Pretend", "Cat Dancers" and "Get My Way" for fresh new Stevie material!!!

I once did a timeline detailing all official releases with NEW Stevie content, and 1974 and 2000 were the only years (since 1973) without some NEW Stevie content released to her fans. Pretty good for us fans!!!

*** Stevie performed "Silent Night" on TV in December 2000, but it wasn't released on CD until the next year. So, 2000 may count......

So, are we sure that the song wasn't written for a project of Dave Stewart's? Only because lately Stevie's been helping out other artists instead of herself. Although, i kinda doubt Dave Stewart seeked out Stevie to write a song, it has to be the other way around!

This is great news....

I would guess Stevie probably seeked out Dave, who is also a great songwriter. Jimmy Iovine suggested to Stevie that they collaborate in 1984, but that turned and "Don't Come Around Here No More" ended up in Tom Petty's hands.

I think it is a fantastic idea for her to co-write with new writers (instead of the usual, R. Nowels, M. Campbell etc.) to reinvigorate her chops. I see this as all positive and a strong indicator that she is writing new material for either a new solo

or FM recording!!

Wouldn't it be great if Stevie (who coincidentally attended the Interscope Grammy party) is working with Jimmy Iovine again in some capacity, as in an executive producer role. Perhaps she is doing a spec record for Interscope (I believe her recording contract was completed with Reprise/Warner after the Soundstage CD release.) and is seeking out Jimmy's advice for collaborative idea's for writers and producers for a solo comeback!! This would bring her solo career full circle if Jimmy is at the helm of this.

Fingers crossed!!!!
