No. It pains me to say it but Lindsey reminds me eerily of a less buff David Hasselhoff Baywatch-era in that shot. I almost disregard that photo shoot entirely when I think about LB.

I adore OOtC Lindsey as well. So handsome. And all those suits and his style around that time was so sophisticated. I know the 90s weren't exactly the pinnacle of fashion, but he looked incredibly suave during that time. I love Lindsey in his 40s.

So, what's a better shirtless cover....L&O or Buckingham Nicks?? Or do you think both of them don't really work for Lindsey? I think both are okay, but not my faves. As for Lindsey with beard/facial hair, I have to say I'm So glad he ditched both. A little stubble is okay, but the beard was hiding him!!!!

I think Lindsey's aura and attitude on the BN cover is a little less generic than on Law and Order. I agree with you about the facial hair or the big hair in general. He often seems buried in it. In fact, some of the earlier high school pictures of him look more like "Lindsey" than those early seventies photos do to me.

But this probably has a lot to do with the photos being in black and white. If they had been in color and his eyes had still been distinctive, then those hirsute pictures probably would have reminded me a lot more of the man we know today, even with all the hair.

I will have to go with Buckingham Nicks as i seem to have such a problem with Law and Order. I would have loved to have seen the others faces when he first walked in all cropped and clean shaven. I think my jaw would've just hit the floor!

Carol wrote about it in her book. She says the band was shocked and claims that Christine and Stevie were especially mad at her for convincing Lindsey to change his look. They just glared at her. It was pretty comical really, the way she described it.

I love that part in the book. The authenticity of some of CAH's stories in that book may be up for debate but certainly I won't question the consistent praise of Lindsey's beauty showered throughout.

And I think Stevie is preferable to bearded/fro Lindsey as well. How do I know?

WISH I HAD BEEN THERE...

He looks GREAT ( duh, as always ), and is absolutely on FIRE!! Wasn't this concert ( Vancouver ) soon after they were down for a while with the flu?? If it was, They ( especially Linds ) definitely made up for it!
