Yes! That's it--I didn't realize it was at the end of the performance of Never Going Back. I have a hard time believing they couldn't have played it.

I know. They totally paint each others toenails while spinnin' the Buckingham Nicks album.

But, seriously, I'm sure LB could have played it, but maybe they don't remember all the words. I'd understand that. The crowd's reaction when she started singing it was great, though! The older lady who looks like Ellen Burstyn at 3:33 especially.

While I think the great majority of your innumerable criticisms of Buckingham and Nicks are indeed founded in truth, the kids do still have some live vocal talent left in them. Even if their voices are different than they once were. In the last 5 years even, Stevie has rendered some downright torchy versions of Beauty And The Beast, for instance (even though that's not a fav of mine, per se).

Stevie's voice is definitely a bit more nasal and grainy than it was when that particular song was recorded... but it really could be argued she has better pacing and control in that song than she did back in the day. When Stevie really wants to sing well, she still can. Just look at her version of At Last... fantastic.

Lindsey can sing quite well too when he sings more softly (instead of that horse sounding whisper yell thing he's had going on the past half decade). His recent versions of Save Me A Place have been quite nice.

I think if Stevie and Lindsey decided to do a Buckingham Nicks tour (which very well could happen when they're nearing retirement), they could do these songs justice... if they really wanted to, and honestly worked hard on them. There's still an issue of egos though... which seems to translate to stiff and/or overcompensating/angry Mac performances. My long winded point is that it could happen, and it doesn't necessarily have to be a detrimental thing at all. The whole aging of their voices and doing some of these songs could be a beautiful full circle thing... if done correctly.

That version of 'Save Me A Place' is about a thousand times better than the one on Tusk. It's one of the few LB songs I never cared for, but this version is listenable! As for a Buckingham Nicks tour, I don't think it would work. I mean, if they were capable of putting everything aside and working together in a meaningful way, I think we would have seen evidence of that before now. It would be nice though if they would sing Frozen Love at a Mac show....

I just think that album is so perfect, they will never be able to live up to it. Frozen Love and Races are Run are fantastic.

I wish we had some videos where they had performed come of the Buckingham Nicks stuff. We can always hope for a tour. I think theres a mutual understanding between us all that we know Stevie's voice isn't quite what it used to be with regards to her range but she still oozes stage prescence and charisma. Plus even the chemistry between them in the video is still amazing and to see just the 2 of them on stage doin the songs before their major success I think would be great !!!

Ps. Of the Buckingham Nicks album I love Cryin in the Night - not amazing lyrically but love the guitar as is Lola!!! Frozen Love's great plus can you imagine what their harmonies on Crystal and Sorcerer would be like ...???

hmmm, Crying in the Night is Stevie on the verge. Long Distance Winner the harmonies are excellent and she is soooo fireary! My favorite from her on the album is Races are Run. It's just such an honest song and she goes somewhere emotionally.

Frozen Love is my favorite. The best written song on the album is Crystal, but it's not as good here as it was on Fleetwood Macs album.
