First and foremost, I am not Stevie and don't know what goes through her mind. It's easy for us to say, do this, do that. But......

It's her "uniform" - exactly. I think she has adopted what she feels best represents her look - the black dress from the Rumours cover. She said that she wanted to be the long cool woman in a black dress. So, she is. I'm a bit schizophrenic about the whole thing. The one part of me is glad that she's still around and that girls young enough to be her granddaughter are inviting her to play onstage at a major award show. To be honest, how many other female rockers from Stevie's generation have had that kind of impact and STILL get recognized today as being legit? I think Stevie has really gained the respect she wanted for so long. She may be toned down now and not as svelt as she once was but she is still here and people love her. She has done a great job keeping herself out there and still being relevant with today's artists. That is a huge accomplishment.

On the other hand...I would be lying if I said that when I see her come out in that same outfit and flat hair I'm disappointed and think she could step it up a notch. Put some layers in that hair and some lowlights or something! Bring it up a bit. Go back to those classy velvet jackets if you need something form-fitting. Throw a little splash of color in there somewhere. She probably looks at some of her shawls and capes from the days of yor as being a bit much for her now. Remember in an interview she said that she started wearing all those colors to get away from the black witchy thing because people started saying things? Funny thing was, she still looked witchy - just in color! Everything about Stevie since 1997 has been toned down. In a sense, I understand why - it's just easier for her. You become simpler as you age and you can't be bothered with this or that. "This works" so let's just stick with it.

You cannot tell me whoever her stylist was for that concert is the same person who dressed her and did her hair last night!
I could be wrong, as I often am, butI do not believe that Stevie Nicks employs a stylist. She has wardrobe assistants who may interject here and there but ultimately, I think that STEVIE decides what Stevie wears. Honestly, what stylist would put her in the same (less than flattering) dress year after year. Stevie is way too independant and set in her ways to have a 20 something rummaging through her closet telling her what to wear and what to throw out. Stevie has been the self admitted constructor of the Stevie Nicks look since the first Fleetwood Mac tour. I don't believe she has or will ever hand those reins over to someone other than herself.

That being said, I think a V-shaped low cut bodice, lace/chiffon coat and handkerchief hemmed skirt would have looked much softer and more flattering for The Grammy's. That square across the front dress and corset top cuts her right across the middle. She's not heavy but she's not 100 lbs either. A few adjustments could have taken 10 lbs off her.

I agree! I am surprised Joy didn't backhand him.

If I look as good as Stevie does at (basically) 62 years old, then I'm doing great. I hope I do... I hope you all do too.

As the one above me said, it's her uniform. And... as she's said herself, "I don't change."
So why expect her to now? Sure, it morphs and takes on variations, but ...I don't expect her to do anything drastic, and I certainly hope she doesn't..because everyone would be saying something is wrong! I do wish she'd curl her hair more, or have it more like Soundstage....but I think she's doing pretty darn well for 62 !

Some of you do not sound like a fan...Very confusing.....Thank god Stevie
doesn't look at this......

Think about it. She was standing next to a young woman.
If she would have worn a low top it would have made her look like she
was trying to stay young. For 61 Stevie looks amazing.......

Be kinder to Stevie, please, everybody. Your words are cruel barbs. Always remember that.

In case you haven't noticed over the past 35 years, Stevie consistently wears low cut tops and dresses, including the dress she wore on Sunday night. She's been doing this from day one. The style of the top is what I feel could have been improved upon. A V neck tends to elongate the body, therefore slimming it. You need not take other people's opinions quite so personally. There are, after all, opinions and everyone has a right to theirs.

Default Stevie mention today on The View

Today Tiffany and Debbie Gibson were on The View. The co hosts were asking them if they ever fueded in the 80s and Tiffany spoke up and said they only thing they fought about were shoes. Tiffany said that she is a huge Stevie Nicks fan so she always wanted the big thick clunky heels and Debbie wanted the skinnier high heels. Just thought I would mention...lol

No new news that Tiffany is a Stevie fan! I however think it's rude How Heart fans are picking on their performance of 'What About Love'.

Not shocking to hear your opinion of the negative!

Cougar Town mention:

http://smallscreenscoop.com/cougar-t...-nicks/324462/

Jules Cobb Quotes: You know, Fleetwood Mac married Stevie Nicks.

Ellie Torres Quotes: I don’t think so.

Jules: Well, it’s true.

Now that's cool. They also mentioned Stevie in this week's How i met your mother episode, i was so thrilled since it's my favorite show and i didn't expect that .

Ted's ideal girl, when he was a teenager, was actually Robin physically, but named Rhiannon, playing bass and looking "earthy".
Robin : "My name is Rhiannon, like the Stevie Nicks song. I'm hot, but in a crunchy, earthy kind of way".
