Did anyone else get tickets in the Portland presale ?
To quote my favorite late, great Aunt Dorothy...I'll be a dirty S.O.B., I did okay. No one is more surprised than I am. I got Section 102, row J, which is second side section back, ten rows up. Close enough to see, high enough to see over heads. I did pull up seats in row 17 on the floor, and many times, rows 20 and 22. The problem is I am taking my sister and niece, and they are both five footers. Those floor seats would leave them miserable and staring at the backs of people's heads all night. So, I am happy with what I got. For the venue and circumstance, they are exactly the seats I wanted. As an added bonus, this will be my 16 year old niece's first concert ! She has become a Stevie fanatic, adding TISL to her favorites list alongside Linkin Park, Good Charlotte, and Eminem. Bizarre combination, but whatever. My sister takes responsibility for this, having listened to Eric Clapton and Mac constantly throughout her pregnancy. Her intention was to have a kid who had some taste in music. Seems like she got some results. We'll now make sure her first concert is memorable. |

Well...after 2 solid hours of trying for better seats...I logged on right at 9am ::row 20 seats 22-23:: popped up first, I kept going back and forth ::row 22 seats 16-17 & 18-19:: ::sec 103 row r, sec 110 row n:: back to ::row 20 & 22:: the closet I came to was row 14 seats 5-6 (I just didn't want to sit near the aisle)...so I kept trying and FINALLY I (just minutes ago) purchased a pair of row 17 center seats. I admit I kept expecting to see row 10 or 5 or maybe even closer...but no such luck...I would have stayed on longer but I have a ton of schoolwork to do and I must get busy...

~~~At 9:00 AM I logged in for the Portland sale. The first thing that came up was Sec. 215 Row K - imagine. I worked on it for about 15 minutes and the best I could get was Floor Row 20. So that's where I'll be. It makes me wonder how the scalpers, e bay etc can get Floor Row 4.~~~
