Maybe I should read it. I am epic fail at the whole relating thing.

In other news, JTIS that Chef Boyardee cheese filled ravioli allow me to enjoy the convenience of filled pasta from a can without that frightening fake mystery meat experience. Win!

I went to South Florida for the day today. I woke up in my bed, flew down to Miami on a 645 am flight, spent the day between Miami and Palm Beach in 77 degrees. Ahh...a nice change from a winter day in the Northeast. I flew home on a 630pm flight and I'm back home in my bed.

I'm absolutely exhausted, but I feel like such a celebrity jetting 1000 miles away for just the day. Hehe...probably the closest I'll ever come to that status. This was all possible because my friend's brother works for an airline and hooked us up with some buddy passes.

Oh goodness. Into the Wild (book and movie) is fantastic.
What a fascinating story and man... so sad though. In more ways than one.

I saw the movie yesterday and I was totally blown away. It's fascinating, indeed, to see how he changes, how he grows up, and how he finally understands. And the landscapes...I have to buy the book, and to come to the US.

Haha, there's no shame here. Somehow, when I was writting this on the forum yesterday, I knew that you were going to reply . You are totally the kind of person that loves this story !

I almost don't want to post this because I don't want to jinx it, but I've had the best day. I was notified that I made it to the interview stage for an internship in California for the summer, and my favorite professor (whose letter of recommendation was probably integral in my advancement for the internship) asked me hours after I found out to work as her assistant this semester! I'm so happy!

Thanks! It really was awesome. It's actually become an annual tradition for my friend and I. We may jet off to LA sometime this spring -- but hopefully for a few days this time.

Sea monkeys & internships & day trips, oh my!

I get to move on Friday and I am nowhere near ready to go. That'll be fun. And by "fun" I mean NOT AT ALL FUN EVER.

An hour and a half ago Juan R. showed up at my door. We then proceeded to have date #14. He just left and I feel satisfied. Come on and do it, do it, do it till you're satisfied. Whatever it is.
