Default Top 10 Most Played Tracks On Your iTunes/iPod

There was a thread somewhere in one of the other forums about your top 10 Fleetwood Mac tracks, but what about the rest of the music on your iTunes/iPod?

Now mine might be a bit weird - partly because of my musical taste and partly because I have only changed over to iTunes from Media Player in the past few months after my wife received an iPod for her birthday back in October (and I received one for Xmas).

These are currently my top 10 most played songs according to iTunes
  1. Heavy Cross - Gossip
  2. My! My! Honeycomb - Bonnie Tyler
  3. The Low Spark of the High Heeled Boys - Jim Capaldi with Dave Mason
  4. One Sided Love - Fleetwood Mac
  5. By The Sun - Idle Race (Dave Walker)
  6. Diamonds and Rust - Joan Baez
  7. Mohammed's Radio - Warren Zevon
  8. Stay Down in New Orleans - Bekka Bramlett
  9. Early Morning Come - Fleetwood Mac
  10. Trinity - Fleetwood Mac

2.) Live version of "Doughnut Song" Tori Amos, from the Official Bootlegs set
3.) "Self Bias Resistor" Fear Factory
4.) Live version of "Liquid Diamonds" Tori Amos, from the Official Bootlegs set
5.) "Cat People (Putting Out Fires)" David Bowie
6.) "The Four Horsemen" Aphrodite's Child
7.) "Desert Song" Dead Can Dance
8.) "Dominion/Mother Russia" Sisters of Mercy
9.) "Pretty When You Cry" VAST
10.) "Smile At You (Angry Demo)" you know who

All the same, baby. All the same.

"You never know what I'll do. I've resequenced my show. I'm a master at sequencing. I'm the one who sequenced for Fleetwood Mac. I sequenced 'Rumours.' Everyone loves my sequences. They're fun.''

Do you use itunes? I enabled the Play Count column in itunes (it was hidden, right click on any column to select which columns you want to see). I can also see the most played on my ipod if I go to Music / Playlist /Top 25 Most played.

My two top 25 lists are different (I don't sync my ipod with itunes).

My father is a huge Joan Baez fan, and as I said to him the other day, for a Joan Baez song it is actually pretty good

The one I like is from the 40,000 Headmen tour (Jim and Dave). To my mind it is a much better song than the original Traffic version.

I reset my play counts a few months ago, so this is pretty representative of what I've been into lately more than over time.

1. "When We First Met" - Hellogoodbye
2. "Fans" - Kings of Leon
3. "Live Like We're Dying" - Kris Allen
4. "These Walls" - Hanson
5. "Heartbreaker" - Matt Wertz
6. "Save Me" - Marc Broussard
7. "Firecracker" - Steel Train
8. "Imperial Lover" - Carney
9. "Girl Named Tennessee" - Needtobreathe
10. "Take Your Time (Coming Home)" - fun.

I have hardly listened to my iTunes ever since I got Windows 7, so this is coming off of my iPod -- mine are pretty much all over the genres as well:

1. "Set the Fire to the Third Bar" - Snow Patrol
2. "My Heart" - Paramore
3. "It Doesn't Matter Anymore" - Linda Ronstadt
4. "Samson" - Regina Spektor
5. "All I Wanted" - Paramore
6. "Everyone You Know" - Now Now Every Children
7. "Beast of Burden" - Rolling Stones
8. "The Few That Remain" - Set Your Goals
9. "Me and Mrs. Jones" - Michael Buble
10. "Miracles" - Jefferson Starship

I get a professional massage bi-weekly and he comes to my house. Each time I play a different set of oldies. This was on last weeks list. I've heard this track thousands of times but this was the first time I said to myself, "she's trying too hard to sound like Bob Dylan." Trying to rush those words into each phrasing ending.

Could be intentional. It's blatantly about Dylan.
