Well it still baffles me that Don is an attraction as a solo act. Never have I heard of one person going to his solo show or any promotion to back a 10,000 seater. The only songs I know of his that he did by himself are Boys of Summer and End of Innocence.

When was the last time Stevie sold anywhere near 10,000 tickets to a single concert? Pretty sure it was 2001.

Before the Eagles reunion, Don would sporadically headline sheds/arenas. He's a theater/boutique shed act these days, no doubt.. Stevie being firmly entrenched in boutique shed territory.

In 2008 she sold 10,584 tickets of 15,274 tickets available at DTE in Clarkston, Michigan according to Fleetwood Mac Legacy.

2005- Ohio, I remember reading an article saying she sold out a 10,000 seater.

Our information is that FM will be opening for the Eagles and the announcement will be made in the next two weeks or so. I guess we'll know then for sure.

I dont think it's embarrassing at all really. I get what youre saying, but you said it yourself, the Eagles are a bigger draw, thats just the way it is. I'm not going to have any less enjoyment or less pride in being a Mac fan at these shows. I'll just enjoy both sets and appreciate seeing these 2 bands together like this. Quite frankly I am really starting to like this idea more everyday.

Well, if they do end up doing this tour, I will definitely make every effort possible to get to a show - for as long as I've been a fan, I've only managed to see the Mac itself once live, this last time on the Unleashed tour, so I'd love to see them again.

I'm just antsy about how spendy the tickets will end up being, even for crap nosebleeds, since I know the Eagles are famous for their ridiculous ticket prices, and the Unleashed ticket prices weren't what I'd really call reasonable.

Since I've only seen my favorite band once live and I probably won't have many more chances to do so in the grand scheme of things (they are old, after all), I hate the idea of missing a chance to do so, but if the tix are too spendy (relatively speaking, I don't expect $45 tickets or something), I will flail around like Kermit and be sad.

But if there is no mingling between the bands, I think the idea you propose is a good one. Of course, even the "nosebleed" seats for this concert are going to be pricey.

Oh, there's no question Eagles are the bigger draw- but if Fleetwood Mac is presented/promoted as the opening act (as this seems to suggest), and not just simply the act that goes on first (an important distinction)... that's a big blow to the ego. It just screams desperation to me; I'm not even sure if its even about the money/increased payday anymore.

Oh ok I see what youre saying now. Yeah I guess that does make some sense, although it really doenst mean anything to me. I guess what I was trying to say is that I'm going to enjoy it no matter how its presented.
