i think that cleared it up for everyone who didn't get it the first time around.

I remember. Yeah, that didn't work. I guess people read at different paces & we just couldn't get all our **** together at the same time. I wouldn't mind trying again, but I'm really crazy busy right now & I fear it would take me several months to finish a book - although I am in the process of reading The Story of Edgar Sawtelle & I'm almost done with it. Only took me 4 months.

I loved The Lovely Bones, and I will probably see the movie. Another book I've read since that I fell in love with was The Time Traveler's Wife. That movie was actually very good, true to the story for the most part.

I haven't seen the movie, but I really loved this book. And I am too busy for the book club thing, now and I was then too. Oh well- we tried!

Everyone remember Black Widow/Andre? That guy ended up being really creepy. He started internet stalking some Ledgies & threatening them.

It's good. Wife and I went to the premiere here in Wellington! Red carpet and all! Susan Sarandon and Mark wahlberg was here (we didnt see Marky Mark) but Peter Jackson and his wife were also there.

I liked The Lovely Bones, but I didn't love it. I think I liked the concept more than anything.

The Time Traveler's Wife is one of my favorites. I didn't see the movie, in fear that they'd butcher it.

I want a Ledgie book club!

I can't get through The Lovely Bones. It freaks me out way too much. I get a chapter in and then flip out. I'll manage it eventually, though, and I do want to see the movie.

Flipped out in what sense- without giving too much away because I plan on reading it soon!

Its just reaaaaaaaaaaaaally intense subject material and certain aspects of it hit a little close to home for me. Thus the flip out.

I've read it. It's amazing. Once you get through the first few chapters or so - which are horrifying, and I did cry ridiculous amounts - the story becomes almost touching but still keeps that underlying hope and anticipation that George Harvey will be found out and arrested. It's also interesting to see how everyone's lives pan out after Susie's death.

Really good book, I'd definitely recommend it.

I wish I was too! I love reading, I just don't do it enough. Which is terrible, considering I study English Literature. Oh, the irony.
