it's scary, but with Silver Girl all I'm picturing is Avril Lavigne's Skater Boy i know when i hear the song my fears will be put away. But of all the songs out there and we've now seen ALL the lyrics (Everybody Finds Out looks AMAZING) this is the only song that wories me. She was a Silver Girl, living in a high tech world, is almost identical to that annoying Skater Boy.

Did someone post the lyrics to Goodbye Baby? Also, not that it matters but it's Skater Boi.

Actually, it's even worse.... I think it's "Sk8tr Boi"

By the way, if we suddenly know all these lyrics, does that means that the songs have leaked?

we SOME people actually OWN the new CD right now. I don't know how but they do. And they have all heard all the songs and obviously know the lyrics.

Well I don't want to start whining and risk being called a greedy vulture like some of us were called when the original "Thrown Down" and "Peacekeeper" were leaked and understandably, we all wanted to hear them...

But it hardly seems fair that some fans have access to the songs while other's don't. How does one go about being placed on the "A-list" anyway?

In two week's time we'll all hear the songs at least!!!

it's definitly not fair. But it's kind of getting easier and harder to wait at the same time. I mean i keep ssaying OMG just 2 weeks. But it seems SOOO long. But then i say we were waiting for this 2 years ago, when we first heard about it. So how is this two weels seeming so long

The thing that makes me happiest about waiting until April 15th really has nothing to do with hearing the album as a whole new thing instead of knowing most of it as I did with TISL. When April 15th comes around, I will be in my last week of classes for the semester, and buying the album will be my celebratory act in making it through this semester without going to the insane asylum. This semester has nearly driven me crazy, and I can't WAIT for it to end. So, Say You Will shall be my symbol for making it through.

Heart Awesome Lyrics!

Wow, these lyrics (all of them!) definitely do not disappoint.
I especially like Ilume, its lyrics seem to have the same abstract quality as Peacekeeper's. Very tasteful. And how lovely that she dedicated it to Rudy Giuliani anf the New York City FD and PD and the victims of 9/11. That's really beautiful.
Thanks Neil for putting those on your site.

Thumbs up She really knows how to handle it.

When I first heard that "Illume" was about September 11th, I got to say I was somewhat disappointed in Stevie. I thought she was going to make one of those songs that makes you depressed by openingly stating "All those who lie dead," or "Where you there when the world stopped turning, that September day?" I thought (and still think) that some of the songs made about Sept. 11th were done in the completely wrong approach. If anything, I am completely excited now that Stevie has taken such a graceful leap by using her unique style of writing to create something that really does say something about Sept. 11th , and not take advantage , of what happened. She has made me proud to be a Fleetwood Mac fan even more. As for "Silver Girl," I fear that it might resemble "Skater Boy," and I think the feeling is mutual among the fans...if you haven't heard "Skater Boy" then you were blessed by God in some fashion. Leaves one to wonder, will people start to compare the songs because of the first two lines? Because that will be a major insult to Stevie.

ok I just read the lyrics and I hope Illume sounds haunting and mysterious and sad like the lyrics.

Silver Girl, well ummmmm, w/ those kind of lyrics she might pull it off if the song has some sort of cheesy, but chunky-funk sort of sound to it- like a modern day Sister Honey kind of funk!

It's about Stevie-is it ever! Sheryl maybe has some similarities-but the bit about being an actress sometimes...

Oh great..i didn't make the Sk8tr Boi connection til i read this thread.Dammit! J/K...I don't know..i think it is different..and i like it..as much i love Stevie for her serious..heart-touching songs...it is good to see a different side once in a while...Ilume...well...i suppose i am gonna have to hear it..but for the moment it just seems like it is gonna make me sad...maybe not in a bad way...and as for Everybody Finds Out...all i can say is "hell yea Stevie"
Also..i know there are people that DO have the album..i was talking to a friend of mine from HS last night that i haven't seen in like two years..and she HAS it.. like her boyfriend or someone does...and i was flipping out...but...there are such major restrictions and she could get in so much trouble..it is really not worth it,you know..so..whatever...two more weeks...i've made it this far...i'll survive,lol...
