Default Stevie Nicks and Heart

It's no secret, I want these guys to tour together, but, I'm starting this thread because I read on the HeartMonger blog that Stevie sang What About Love with them on stage in the 80s!!

Have any of you heard or seen this performance. I think Grace Slick was in on the performance also. I'd LOVE to hear it or see it.

I've heard that too, but if there was a recording it had popped up by now. But the strange thing is there aren't even pictures, you think somebody would photograph that, Heart, Stevie Nicks and Grace Slick all on the same stage!
Almost as frustrating as the fact that there are a lot of pics of Stevie on stage with Kenny Loggins, but not one recording of them performing "Whenever I Call You Friend".

I have the recording on cassette tape, but the quality is horrible. You can make out Stevie's vocals though!!! If no one else posts it, I will try to get it transferred.

Here you go. The quality is BAD, but I don't think there is a better recording:

Oh my God! This makes me so happy. I love Heart and had no idea that they had ever performed with Stevie. A tour with both of them would be incredible. I'd HAVE to travel over to the US to see it, I couldn't miss it!

I did hear that These Dreams was originally written for Stevie. That and the romantic mess that was Heart were, I thought, the only connections between them.

These Dreams was written originally for Stevie, as was Call Me which ended up being a Blondie song. Ann and Nancy spoke of Stevie as a really nice person in an interview I read a long time ago.

Yeah, I'd heard that Call Me was written for her. I dunno how that would have worked. I can hear her doing the verses but not the chorus so much. Man, Debbie Harry...so damn HOT!

Agreed. From what I remember, Giorgio Moroder wrote the music and submitted a demo version of it to Stevie so she could write lyrics to it. For whatever reason Stevie couldn't do it. So the demo was then sent to Debbie Harry who then came up with the lyrics that we all know and love today.

Thanks for the song! I wish they'd do an album together. I mean, they all have plenty of money, maybe they should do some fun stuff at this point in the game. A Stevie/Heart album would be priceless!!!

See, a tour with Stevie and Heart I could get more excited over than a Mac tour with the Eagles!!!
