Default Is Lindsey the Most Attractive Musician Ever?

I think he is.

This may sound strange, but I'm a gay 31 year old woman. And yet...Lindsey...I find him VERY attractive. In terms of both his looks and his charisma, energy and obvious genius-level talents.

Anyone else find themselves strongly attracted to Lindsey?

Absolutely. And I like your bold statement. Lindsey is such a beautiful artist and so under-appreciated (for the most part, but these days have been good to him), but I never thought about him being in the "most" or "ever" category, just because...he always gets short-shifted on those polls.

But why the hell not? He's gorgeous and an incredible performer. Let's not even get into his musicianship. Sure there's people who have had more success and way more attention, but in my book LB belongs there and moreso.

So I think I'm on a pretty similar wavelength. Just imagine someone who feels as strongly about his greatness, just not into those general statements as much. But I love when other people say them.

In a word...YES!

I mean, really, just sit and watch him play his guitar...one of the sexiest things on the planet. Remember how Stevie said something about always coming home from work just to find him sitting in the floor with his guitar?? I most definitely wouldn't mind walking into my house to find Lindsey Buckingham...especially the Lindsey Buckingham from the late 60's through the early 80's...sitting in the middle of my floor playing the guitar.

There are not enough words to describe how absolutely attractive Lindsey is! I have always thought so! Not only beautiful, but so very talented too. I don't enjoy his music though because of his looks. He'd be number one in my book even if he hadn't looked so great!

Hmm... I'm a gay man, and I've always found his looks to be a bit... odd. Even when he first joined Fleetwood Mac he wasn't what I'd call typically attractive. I guess maybe he's too thin and delicate looking for me? I dunno. For a moment in time, I do think he was extremely hot during the Tusk era though. That close cropped hair, those fabulous tailored suits, even the dark eye makeup... definite hotness! I absolutely love his clothing style the past 10 years as well... he and I definitely have the same taste in clothes. I just want to take some ****ing clippers to his silly hair though, or at least get him to stop brushing it back. Not too flattering when it's receding and going grey!

you know I was looking all singers and musicians included in my ipod songs. Definitely Lindsey is one of the best good looking. However I could mention others:

Chris Isaak
Corey Hart
(young) Sting
Justin Timberlake
Jim Morrison (in his best days of course)
Spandau Ballet singer.

Even though I find his music endlessly dull, I think Jack Johnson is easily the best looking male musician out there right now (in my book). He just has that all-American laid back good looks to him... very handsome.

I agree, he isn't typically attractive. For the longest time I thought he had a funny, wide mouth, and I still think that. He was hot during the Tusk era. It wasn't until he started working the heroin-chic look near the middle/end of 1979. Boy got too thin.

I'm also a gay female and I have got to admit that I do find Lindsey very good looking during the Tusk era.

... Maybe this is us gay ladies saying that we think Lindsey is feminine

Lindsey's a good looking man, but - for me anyway - what makes him sexy is his talent. Even ugly musicians can become sexy if they've got talent.

My brother said "Lindsey should've gone on propetia (sp?) to keep his lovely curls."

I'm not sure the curls are gone. He does have a bald spot and a receding hair line, but he still has plenty of hairs. If he grew it out more, he'd still have curls, but I'm not sure an older man needs more hair.

I agree with Louie that he shouldn't brush it back off of his forehead though.

I don't think I've ever seen a man more good looking than Lindsey and I've certainly never seen a produceer, guitarist, singer and songwriter as handsome, but I'm not that objective.

Once you like someone, their good looks seem to increase astronimically.

Lindsey's bald spot is workable, though. It's not very prominent on his good days, of which he has many, but I suppose when he makes absolutely no effort with his hair you can definitely notice he has one. However, the man just turned 60 and he's still incredibly sexy/beautiful, so I can totally live with the bald spot and whitish hair. Totally.

I personally think he's incredibly physically attractive, especially during the days when his hair was darker. I loved all those thick curls and piercing blue eyes and the way his face was all chiseled when he looked serious and boyish when he smiled. Yes, he's always veered toward the skinnier side, but he works it.

But most of all, his music is like another, supernatural trait of his that empowers him to the scale of being that much more gorgeous because of how brilliant and intense he is. I have seen SO many people live. Amazing artists. But I honestly can name no one who can touch Lindsey's intenseness or even match him at his most passionate of deliveries, where he is one with his instrument, the melody, and nothing else in the world can draw you away from it.

Reminds me of Wanda Sykes recent televised stand up show where she's talking about how she can't believe how the stars from her generation are getting old. That Jamie Lee Curtis is doing Activia commercials because she can't ****, and Sally Field has old lady back and needs Boniva.

And now Lindsey Buckingham is losing his pretty curls!

Wanda Sykes was very funny. The stuff she was saying (about being lactose intolerant, wearing Spanx, and her stomach "Esther") was very funny and it reminded me of things that happen to my mother, but the sad truth is that in absolutely no time, it's going to sound more like me than my mother. Well, actually, already my mother and I are starting to have much too much in common.

There was that cute moment in Destiny Rules when John and Lindsey were joking about keeling over with a heart attack. After putting on a show for 2.5hours Lindsey probably has Kristin rub him in Ben Gay at night.
