coz compared to SYW, this whole show is just infinitely BETTER
it's hard to be critical

don't know that it's SUPPOSED to be
and i dont think the song in general is sexy
but the way i heard it last week... yes. yes it was sexy
it's slowed down, so it's teasy.
never mind where my head was at...
they could have just been standing there speaking the lyrics
with no instrumental backdrop and that would have been fine too

I'm not first and foremost a Buckingham fan. I'm first and foremost a Fleetwood Mac fan. Buckingham comes 2nd with Nicks a very close 3rd.

I'm wouldn't say I'm very critical of his work either... he is my favorite guitar player, yes, but I was more surprised at myself for disliking his current arrangement of NGBA. I will have to respectfully disagree that the current tour version of the song is "infinitely better" than the SYW version (or any of the previous tours)

When they got into the song, after the new intro, I didn't notice that the vocals for NGBA had changed much from previous versions. But if they have and if they whisper to each other now the way they were doing on Say Goodbye live, then that's a turn off.

I really like the whispering on this song now - especially when Stevie is matching him on it. I would say that is sexy...

But, what I really enjoyed was watching it - Stevie doing her hiding in the shadows thing while he was singing. I felt like I was watching some dramatic play for sure. I loved it! I have to admit, I laughed out loud which was I'm sure totally inappropriate for the mood they were trying to create and convey but I was giddy with artistic appreciation - what can I say?

THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so im not hallucinating
it's the mood they create YEEEEEEEEEES

that's so funny i like watching Stevie too when she's not doing anything
though actually, this is the first time i really paid attention to Lindsey on Lindsey songs etc. very different.

tho the audience was cheering and all stupid in the dumbest of places
and i wanted to yell STFU im TRYING to watch this performance this and Gypsy were the only songs i sat down for and WATCHED for the sake of watching.

i will shut up about this now.
no1s going to change my mind about it
and if you don't like it, that's fine too. go watch SYW

Ok, I'm back from a fresh listen. I must have blocked that out. I didn't remember that it was the most annoying thing I'd ever heard. He's not even singing tbe verses. It's not that I don't think he's sexy when he's whispering and such (the Mirage DVD's NTF rocks) but this is like nails on a chalkboard waiting for him to finish a doggone sentence. What a freak.

As for Stevie, well she did a little paintbrush thing for him for Peacekeeper during the SYW tour. It's about time she offered up a little more choreography. She probably dreamed up those moves to keep her mind off of how badly the song was going.

But the audience seemed to like it and that's all that matters. LB need never concern himself with my suffering. The feeling remains even after the NGBA glitter fades.

I think that was the point I was trying to make earlier and didn't know how to say it. That song, Never Going Back, is the wrong song to create that kind of mood I think... They have other songs for that.

yeah no kidding

however...
whilst Lindsey is doing his guitarbation on GDW
i wouldnt be opposed to seeing Stevie shimmying up and down his back
and then instead of her POSE at the end she could do a burlesque style dance around lindsey and a chair with her shawl

Well, you know she gets Waddy under her shawl for solo versions of GDW.

your commentary on that scenario is precisely what i had in my mind when i was imagining la seduction of SnL

it was hot with Waddy...but come on it was WADDY
why cant Stevie invite Linds under her shawl
