I've had a song in my head the past six months- couldn't quite figure out what it was (since it has few lyrics), but have had the entire melody in my head the whole time. Its driven me KRAAZAY.

Tonight, I've finally figured it out (and I'm pretty embarassed I didn't already know this...)

I like every single part of this entire post. All of it.

I get my early action college application responses in THIRTEEN DAYS. I'm freaking out.

On another note, life is good. I learned a lot about myself while on the silent retreat last week and I think my life is finally just coming together. If only my academic motivation was doing as well as my personal life.... guess who had two 15+ page research papers due today and only managed to turn in one?

I love all nighters.

I <3 December.

And it snowed this morning.

P.S. Studying for finals sucks. And in some cases, I'm having a FINALS moment. (F***, I never actually learned this ****!)

I have this dream at least once or twice a week. I have signed up for a class that I never attended once and now have to take the final exam. I usually wake up thankful that school is but a distant dot in my rearview mirror.

I haven't had a nude-in-public dream in a while, but those can be kinda fun.

Oh hai, I remember sitting on your bed while you finished/submitted those apps. I'm really excited for you to hear back from Emerson. ****. Thirteen days? I expect a full report.

Alexa- IT SNOWED? IN TEXAS??? I'm so jealous. Boston's weirdly mild weather has been ruining my Christmas cheer.

My internet works again. It was broken since Thursday. Urgh. I realized I spend way too much time online. I gotta change that. Tomorrow.

Swine flue has finally reached my town in the middle of nowhere and nearly all my teachers are ill. So school is quite relaxing right now. Today I spent pretty much all day in a cafe. Yes, life is good

Strange how I never had to do all-nighters in high school while taking AP classes and yet certain people who are much smarter than me did/do. Hmmm . . . could it be due to . . . PROCRASTINATION!??? . . . .

The funny thing is that for once in my life, I didn't procrastinate. I had been working on those papers forEVER...

Hey now, Boston was beautiful in late November. Boston Common felt/looked like mid-late October in comparison.

I'm usually there this upcoming weekend- wish I was. 40 & sunny on Saturday sounds sublime.

And in late November, I was thrilled with it. Actually, I was in the Common Thanksgiving weekend; hopefully we passed each other on the street.

But back on topic, I'm a freak for the Christmas season. Really. It's to the point that Christmas is my least favorite day of the year because it means the anticipation and build up are over. Once I cross the December 1st threshold, I want snow, cider, and holiday cheer.

I got back from London yesterday. The 7 hour drive home was fun; I spent part of it doing the best Celine Dion impression ever. I'm so obnoxious. Oxford Street at Christmas time is beautiful, the Debenhams had a gorgeous light display. It makes me wish that Sunderland went to more of an effort with their Christmas decorations!

I'm officially accepted to a college. University of San Francisco is a backup, but I am officially guaranteed a spot at a relatively good four-year college.

The burden off my back is not describable. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS

Also, tonight is my last high school football game ever. We are playing in the CCS (Central Coast Section) finals tonight against our 50+ year long rival. I usually hate games and have no spirit whatsoever but I'm getting nostalgic as ****... we had a surprise rally today and the boys all did a Tongan chant that's been a tradition since 1971... and all the coaches, many who played for my school many years ago, were crying. I'm like, in school spirit... weird.

My mom was fired from her job today. I leave home in a month and I'm terrified for her. On a happier note, my old high school is going to the GA DOME for the 4-AAAA high school football championship game next week. Of course they are an amazing football team when I leave haha.

My mother left about 3 hrs ago to go to delaware and shes not coming back til tomorrow night which means im going to be home by myself..good thing i live near friends.

This week:
track practice is crazy as hell..and whoever made this steep ass hill thats near our pond should die a slow horrible painful...excruciating death. we had to run up that thing about 30 times but i wouldnt be complaining if it was just a regular hill but seriously even walking down that damn thing is hard to do.

This weekend:
i have another apush outline to do (like i do every week) but atleast i will actually have some free time which almost never happens. i wanted to go to the mall with my friend robert but he gets migraines alot and doesnt know why so hes been at home "sick" for the last two days which is making me sad because thats one less hug i get at school
