The Westwood One show was broadcast nationally on Sept. 6, 1986. But my old info says it was recorded June 20 -- the night before Poplar Creek. I also have the Aug. 15 date, but can't find any ticket stub confirmation of that. Maybe Stevie played a June date AND an August date.
Wantagh is the Jones Beach venue (the big amphitheater by the water on Ocean Parkway). Stevie was supposed to play Jones Beach on June 7, but that was rained out. So the two happening Jones Beach shows were June 8 & 9. Hey, since Sara Fleetwood is here now, maybe SHE can tell us when the Westwood One radio show was actually taped!
