Default Any Golden Girls fans here ?

My first-ever episode i watched on the day Bea Arthur died, i was curious who she was and i found the show online and was HOOKED ever since.
God knows GG helped me get through some tough days... there wasn't a week since that day in april that i didn't watch at least one episode.
It's funny, witty, warm, comforting; the emotions are balanced prefectly. I just can't get over how well it was written (and acted, of course!)
BTW, http://www.youtube.com/user/goinggol...n?blend=1&ob=4 - my GG provider all the seasons in HQ

*raises hand* I'm a huge Golden Girls fan! The person who uploaded all the episodes to youtube is my hero. It's one of the best sitcoms ever created, in my opinion; it definately created some vibrant characters and memorable moments.

My faves: Betty White and Rue McClanahan

I LOVE THE GOLDEN GIRLS!!!

my fav is Sophia.
She reminds me of myself and is the perfect example of how I want to be when I'm old.

Everyday there is a marathon on tv...nothing but GG for like 3 hours.

I usually watch it nightly when Craig Ferguson is over/the guest is lame. then I watch the hour of Cheers that comes on after it and then I go to bed... thats pretty much my routine lately! ha!

The Golden Girls raises the sitcom to the level of art.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

Hello! Cool, there are other GG fans here!!!

I wanted to have a little pic of Sophia Petrillo next to my name on this board, but I never found one the right size. Failing that, I wanted to put "Shady Pines" as my location, but I didn't think anyone on a Fleetwood Mac massage board would get it......now I think I may have been wrong about that!

BEST. SHOW. EVER.

I've loved the show ever since it first aired in 1985. I have the DVD box set and I know every episode by heart. I also enjoyed the spin-off called Golden Palace. That was on for only one season though and not quite up to the awesomeness that is GG.

I LOVE IT. They don't show it anymore in Peru, no cable channel shows it (we don't have Lifetime). But every time I go to US I try to watch it..

that would've been grand!

Sophia rocks, one day i plan to put the best clips of her GG moments together cause so far i haven't found anything like that on youtube.

Well said. If the amount of love for The Golden Girls on here is any index, civilisation is not falling to pieces.
