I was at this show, at the Hollywood Sportatorium actually - it used to be so far out west and undeveloped out there - it was practically in the Everglades. Stevie arrived and left in a helicopter! It was a little two lane road out there and I'm assuming she didn't want to have to wait in the traffic jam like the rest of us! Blame it on her wild heart.

This definetly looks like Us Festival...if you ask me.....even her hair was very flat that night from the wind.

I will show more examples of this later. Isn't it neat to have someone like me who can remember back that far?
There is the possibility that some of these photos appeared in 1981 or 1982 publications. But none that I was aware of. I was very on top of the situation back then, in my collecting everything available on Stevie/Mac.
Yeah this was one of the first posters I bought back when I became a fan in 1983...this along with the close up of Stand Back video pic and the Magenta Maroon Mirage one...but yeah this was taken in 81 and the magenta one was an 82 pic...but 83 and 84 was when they were all out in the stores and popular.

Here's a bunch of pic of Stevie and friends from this century.Sanne will tell me if I'm wrong.
Those pics all look like this century cept maybe the 2nd one...I usually go by the looks of Stevie's hair... Lol! Those bangs look a little puffy kind of like "Dance era" bangs...not 100%...but that's what they look like to me.

It's really nice to have someone else confirm this.

Here's some more seeing as WH was my first album and I loved this era~ so sad I was too young to see her live for this tour though..I remember I was 9 and my mother showed me the ad in the News paper that she was coming to Buffalo Ny but then said I was too young! How mean! Lol! Oh well My first show was RAL when I was 12 so I really dig all the Wh pics! So wish I could have seen her in concert though at this time!

Also, yes that was rude of your mom to show you the ad and then say you couldn't go.
