Thanks Pip, that's good to know although I think they might have been lucky. The security guards where I was wouldn't let anyone up without checking their tickets before and at the start of the show (I saw numerous people pissed off for being turned away), on instruction from that guy from FM's crew who was talking to you the other night. We had an amazing view where we were anyway, so it didn't matter too much and then eventually we managed to sneak up to the front, so it was cool.
Are you going to next Friday's London show? Your photos are fantastic, btw!

They were very lucky then. I wonder what security will be like tomorrow in Birmingham.

Yes.. I'll be there Friday. I have second row centre. Were they letting the second row up on Saturday? Are you going?

I'm not sure to be honest, it did look like more than the front row, in fact there were a bunch of people on the sides of the front row who remained sitting throughout yet there was still a big crowd in front of the stage. It's worth trying it, all they can do is send you back to your seat. And yep, I'll be there!

You're probably right. There were 2 gaurds posted in each middle aisle so when I spotted Tommer down there I just went along the side. I think it's a matter of acting as much like you belong there, I.E not drawing attention to yourself as much as possible.

I'm in A3 too but further back in row 10, I will definitely come and say hi on Friday.

Thanks for the advice David, I will give it a go on Friday, you never know I may be lucky too!

It will be interesting to see if they so Silver Springs tonight in Sheffield. I'm sure they won't in Birmingham tomorrow, but Im thinking since its only been 1 day off since London they wont tonight either. We'el have to see. I think with what that song seems to do to her voice and how it's been intermittently done on this leg, it may be time to consider permanently dropping it. I wonder what if any song might replace it? any thoughts?

I am, I couldn't resist! The thought of them playing in London and me not being there made me too sad, so I had to go to all three even though my seats for the third show aren't as good.

Maybe they should bring back Goodbye Baby, I always thought that was a sweet way to end the show. It would be nice to see Say You Will represented and it wouldn't be as hard as Silver Springs for Stevie to sing.

Oh and one other thing, try to wait as long as you can. I didnt try to get to the front until about 20 minutes before the show started.

I think The Mac should have retired SS after The Dance. Those performances are unbeatable, in terms of both vocal ability and sheer passion. The fact that this song is not performed every night is proof that the old girl can no longer do it justice, or do it at all for that matter.
