Peacekeeper live

I don't know if this has been posted yet, so I apologize in advance if I missed it. Did anyone else notice that on the live version of Peacekeeper on AOL Sessions, Lindsey reverts back to "only kill" as opposed to the new "break their will" line? I wonder what the reasoning was in changing the words in the first place if they were going to go back to the original when performing live?

I don't like "break their will"!!!!!! I was SO GLAD he sang "ONLY KILL" during the live AOL session!!! That way he said it too...hehe...like "EAT THAT...WARNER BROTHERS!!"

I agree 110%...the original ending is harder
edged and scary the way he sings it!!! He is
right to do it HIS WAY!!! That's Our Lindsey!!!

Jessica quoted the explanation of Lindsey's lyrics...
very ambiguous of course..."It's about how the world

Still sounds like a bloody explosive lyric to my ear ...
but also a thoughtfull heart rending Lindsey song! Sky

Maybe it's just because "Peacekeeper" was a "single" and they wanted it "clean" and "rid of any potential controversy" for radio airplay whereas live, he can do it the way it was intended. Kind of like when there are swears in songs and they are cut out and/or changed in the singles but on the albums/in concert/etc. they are "uncut" so maybe "Peacekeeper" will have the "kill" part in it on the SYW album version? Just a thought.

i was thinking the same exact thing....i don't like "break your will"..."only kill" has so much of a punch to it and really gives the song a strong element. i love the live version of it....now, let me ask you something: is the video you guys are talking about the same one that's interspersed with the interview or is this a full live clip of the entire song? i've only seen the few snippets that were mixed in with the interview segments on aol sessions.
