That being said, Kevin just came across a phrase that means retaliation and stuff like that- which is great because of my lyrics. The name he proposed was

"Roland For An Oliver"

Very unique and I kind of like it. What do you all think?

If you are really going to call your album Running From Shangri-La I don't think a Stevie-inspired band name is a good idea myself.

It also kinda sounds like a rip-off of "Long Road out of Eden" in a way.

And, um... I think the poll respondents are really not digging the name.

Yeah- we're looking at all options for band names- not just Stevie related ones. Kevin and I are looking at many different options- including some my roommate and I came up with last night. Right now, the list looks like this:

1. Watch Devil
2. Said Sara

4. Roland For An Oliver
5. Three Ways From Sunday
7. Secondary Dominance
8. Songs For Susan
9. Secrets of Sara
10. Third Party Opinion

A bit too much like the Manhattan Transfer....... I still like Outside the Rain or The Ledge for names.

Well, a name describes the band. Do you want yours to be described as one mile's worth of sexual desire? If so, great name!

I'm still embarassed to see my sarcastic band name on this thread's title.
