I just realized the title of this thread is what she would be doing if she was not working on new music--and I went ahead and wrote that?!?

Talking Qvc

I think Ms. Nicks should make a couple million... selling stuff on QVC or HSN... like perfume...jewelry... shawls... and of course some gorgeous boots and chiffon pieces.... I KNOW Id be the first on the line to MAX out my credit card!!!.. ohh she could also include some.. CDs or DVD releases on the show.. of course.. maybe belt out a song or two.. in the process! Wouldnt that ROCK!?

I would die.... DIE if she did that. I would be dead of excitement. Seriously.

It's brutal but it's true

She needs to market her look. People try to reproduce it constantly. That would be a dream come to true to chiffonheads everywhere (including me).

I agree with most of what you siad but this. She brought him a gem in Smile At You and he basically turned it into something inferior. I can't speak for the rest of the album, i think he did great work on Thrown Down. I doubt Say You Will the song was ever anything special, i woul need to hear Destiny Rules to make a judgement, but all I know for sure is the simple straight forward blues instrumental style on all the Smile At You demos is far superior to what he turned it into. I gurantee that song is one of Stevies main issues with that album. It was one of only 2 of her songs that wasnt even on that rehearsal board in the Destiny Rules Doc.

I think that we all need to accept the fact that Stevie is a gemini, and however wonderful she is she is bound to have a bitchy back-stabbing side.

No offence to any geminis, but they have a gazillion personalities (more than just two-faced) one day they're your friend the next day they're your enemy and then they change their minds again. They're confusing people. I bet Stevie will turn around again on this view and say she had a great time with Fleetwood Mac working on SYW and wants to do another album at the end of this tour (I Hope).

She's just a crazy old lady stirring up some interesting revelation for the media to publish over and over when really it's the same power struggle we've been hearing about since rumours

You're totally right about Geminis. It's a roller-coaster ride from one minute to the next. Never boring, but not always fun...

If the reporters would ask her the same question about SYW five minutes later she would probably say, "LOVED IT! Had a blast. Got along great with Lindsey. It's all good"

Excuse me? As a gemini I do not have a bitchy back-stabbing side

When Stevie is not making new music she could be popping over to Perth, Western Australia for coffee with me and we'll see where it leads to from there...(I might need to arrange for my wife to go out though)

too true!!

that said, I still dont like many of stevies contributions to the album. The album doesnt work for me, maybe there is enough stuff in there to make a decent lindsey solo record. I dont know.
But fleetwood mac it ain't. I know a lot of people have been discussing this in the Express artlcle thread.

I wonder if she was aware of the Stevie Nicks ballet that was performed in Pittsburgh in 2006? Information about the show was posted on the Nicks fix before the event, but no mention was ever made afterwards. The show was based around the idea of displaying the relationships of men and women through her music.

Timeless (2006)
Choreography: Maria Caruso
Dancers: 6
Music: Stevie Nicks
Genre: Cont. Ballet – Pointe
Time: 32 minutes
Description: Series of pas de deux work along with pas de trois pieces showcasing relationship
